Can be a little noisy with sound from the cars at the traffic lights, not very well soundproofed but acceptable for normal town noise.

The apartment (7) was perfect, very clean, well equipped and comfortable with views over the marina. The location is ideal for access to the ferry, bus and train services and shops. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was a bit noisy, being close to road junctions and busy pedestrian routes.

Proximity to the ferry, wedding, theatre and places to eat out. Ideal for this particular trip, and close to Tesco for breakfast bits and bobs.

The road outside is rather noisy. It didn't affect us but could have been different had we stayed during a warmer time of year and wanted the windows open.

The apartments themselves were super spacious and well furnished. Each flat had its own heating you could control which was lovely, and there were tons of nice little additions such as a carton of fresh milk for tea and a fully kitted out kitchen. The views of the Quay and Douglas Head are amazing, and our son just loved window gazing. The receptionist was also lovely, providing extra tea and assistance when requested.

Host was very helpful on the phone when we got lost finding the place (our fault). The apartment is situated in a groovy part of town with a great selection of nearby restaurants and bars.

Apartment 3 is on the first floor above ground level and has a harbour view. Easy check-in instructions. Clean apartment, well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer combo, small dishwasher. Fast WiFi. I like that the tap water tastes good (not chemically) and gets hot quickly. Location: Easy walk from the ferry terminal and to the seafront promenade. A short walk to a great restaurant (VIBE) and, in the other direction, to a large grocery store (Tesco). Many other eateries and shops nearby. Pleasant and helpful office staff. I would certainly stay here again.

At times it was very noisy but that’s not the fault of the apartment it’s the environmental factors of traffic etc So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper

There was nothing at all that spoiled our enjoyment. Booking through this site, I didn't realise there was an option for a harbour view apartment, which would have been nice but we liked our apartment, and could see the harbour from the bedroom. This did not impact our stay at all, but the apartment is on a very busy corner so traffic noise can be heard. However the location is so central that it is only to be expected.

The apartment (no 2) was perfect. Everything you could need for a self catering holiday, but why would you cook when there are so many great places to eat within a stones throw away?. The apartment is comfy, cosy, spacious, modern, clean, centrally located to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, bus and rail station, sea terminal, Tesco and the Co-op. We visited 3 restaurants and all were exceptional - Little Fish Cafe for brunch, Mrs Yangs for one evening meal, and Isola on our second evening. Food and service in all were fabulous. We also played pool at The Bridge Pub, which was fun. This was a "Staycation" for us so we are very familiar with the area, which meant we didn't feel under pressure to site see, and could totally relax when in the apartment. The reception team were marvellous. Sorted a tiny issue (blown bulb) within minutes, and then also offered a late check out too. With an already early check in, we definitely got absolute value for money for our stay. If it wasn't for family commitments, we would have asked to stay another night. 100% recommend and can't wait to visit again.
