We were happy with our stay. Perhaps the view from the balcony to an abandoned yard was a bit boring, but that's hardly a reason to complain. We weren't planning on spending our holiday on balconies anyway :D

Good hotel and good room. The staff was nice and the check in and out went smoothly. We really liked the breakfast. Perhaps somewhat basic style, but still a good place to stay. And the hotel has its own car park which was great.

We loved staying at Castro Hotel. It was close to the airport, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We will stay there again on our way back to the airport.

Small shower cubicle

This is a good hotel for the money! Very convenient location, close to shops, bars, a club and good beaches, children's rooms. The city center is 20 minutes by bus, the beach is 8 minutes on foot. You can get to the airport by bus in 50 minutes and get off right next to the hotel. Friendly staff, daily room cleaning, varied breakfast. The pool is clean. I liked it very much, I would come again)

I really enjoyed our stay and the staff was absolutely lovely.They swapped our rooms to be able to stay next door to my parents and were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean, well equipped, good food in the restaurant, close to the beach, supermarket, bus station etc. They have swings and a small treehouse for kids entertainment. All round, would be gladly back again.

The rooms needed a small fake flower arrangement to make them more welcoming like the nice fake flower in reception. The real flowers in dining area are not great. Better to put a small fake one so no bugs. Room cleaning should be every day

The room is not so big and we have no window in there, only balcony We had a breakfast for our stay, but on the last day we were leaving in the night and asked for a breakfast to take, but on Crete it is forbidden to take breakfast like that due to health reasons

The hotel is in good condition, very clean, there is a pool. The breakfast was not very varied, but that was not a big problem. I think it is a good hotel for its price.

The room was quite noisy since it was on the ground floor next to the kitchen, dining area and the terrace was overlooking the footpath to the pool. The quality of food for the breakfast could be improved.

Just a few minutes walk from the beach. Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast changed every day so it was not monotonous. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town, yet only 2km away from the National Highway so it was great location if you rent a car.

Bathroom smallish but still nice

Perfect location for us, near the beach/bus stop into Heraklion and lots of restaurants/shops. Hotel staff really friendly especially the breakfast team. The hotel has a very good restaurant attached (Maxims) which we recommend too! Nice pool area. Room very nice with big balcony. Room cleaned every day.

Equipment of the apartment kitchenette was quite poor for a family with an infant. Stony beach is Close to the holet but a sandy beach better for kids is a bit far (about 1,5 km). Doesn't mind for a short stay though.

Very good breakfast, not the same food every day, absolutely chrarming and nice breakfast staff, lovely and helpful waitress. Also a la carte dinners were stunning! The reception was great, very helpful with problem solving. Rooms clean and cosy. Close to bus station and shops.
