Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to Agia Irini Gorge, Lissos and ferry. Was a little away from the main beach area and restaurants (300m),which meant the apartment was quiet and peaceful. Lovely view from the balcony. Well appointed kitchenette.

Very friendly people. Very large apartment with lots of storage space. Perfectly equipped kitchenette. Homemade cake, cookies and a bottle of water the table. The bathroom is simple, but has a well-functioning shower.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, with great facilities. Our host was very welcoming and friendly. The homemade biscuits and bottle of wine waiting for us were a lovely surprise! Great location as it's extremely quiet without noise from any restaurants/bars or other accommodation, and you're only 2 minutes walk from the beach.

There was only one air conditioner in the bedroom so the living room (where the third bed was) was hot if you didn't leave the bedroom door open.

The room was very clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. They left for us wine and hand made treats!

We booked the deluxe apartment which was very spacious and recently refurbished with a luxurious bathroom. We had a lovely welcome from the host who showed us to our room which had some nice freebies ( biscuits, wine, preserved fruit, water & coffee for the Illy coffee machine). Beautifully clean and comfy room. Hadn’t been to Sougia before but fell in love with it. Lovely laid back vibe with great restaurants. The apartment is a short stroll to the beach and and amazing walk to the ruins of Lissos. Will definitely come back and stay here again.

The weather was unstable for the end of May. It concerned many Greeks, and everyone who is worried about climatechange.

Comfortable, clean, just renovated apartment. Surprised by the view from the shadowed balcony: a lot of sea to be seen. Although a few hundred meters from the beach, we could hear the sea at night. And the little village of Sougia where the road ends, is a lovely place to stay.

Perhaps the insulation. We could hear furniture being moved and people talking sometimes at night.

There was no breakfast option. I liked the proximity to restaurants and the beach. The staff were very helpful at all times. The reception area was open from 11am to 7pm each day. The apartment was serviced to a good standard each day. There was also a beach umbrella supplied to each apartment.

Great little apartment in Sougia. Very convenient to all the local hiking trails, private parking, not far from the restaurants but not in the middle of things so pretty quiet at night. Wifi was out in the whole area for part of our stay and was mediocre when it was working but way out there it's not unexpected. Very comfortable and clean! I recommend buying groceries in Chania if you're going to cook while you're there.

It was very windy during our first night and it was squealing round our incompletely shut door. Joanna was waiting as we returned from our Samaria Gorge walk and helped us resolve the issue, so our next night was more peaceful.

A big, stylish room. Spacious bathroom with shower. Balcony with table and chairs. Seemed to be well equipped for those self catering, which we weren't. Welcome cake, wine and biscuits in room. Joanna very attentive host. Questions regarding local transport prior to stay had been answered and suggestions made. All very helpful. Ideomeneas Apartments were easy to find on arrival in Sougia. Perfect for a stay before and after walking down Samaria Gorge.

Nothing not to like!

Irini, Irini, Irini! She was amazing and helped us so much on our stay. The room itself was lovely and clean and spacious with a great balcony. A hot shower and good cooking facilities. Really couldn't fault it.

The room was a good size, and there was a small balcony with a slight view of the sea. The kitchen was a great bonus, allowing us to have breakfasts there. It had a big comfy bed. Sougia is a lovely small beach town with no airs or graces , but plenty of lovely tavernas and little shops only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Irini, the receptionist, was lovely and very helpful.

You can hear other guests quite clearly but most people come back from a hike and go out to dinner and come back to sleep so nobody seemed to stay up late or make that much noise but it is the beginning of the season so not sure how noisy it may get in the height of summer

Clean, spacious apartment with everything you need for a short trip and a good bed and shower. The lady at reception was amazing and met us each day when we returned and sorted us out with anything we needed. The apartments are perfectly located at the edge of town which is only a 4 min walk to the beach front or the other side of town. Balcony is nice, not the best view due to buildings but you can see the sea and the mountains just fine. Would 100% come back.
