Loved my stay at Kydon! Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was good, and they had a great selection of drinks at breakfast that you can ask for. The only problem was the mattress, it was very soft for us.

The hotel is great! It's close to the old town and easy to walk to other places. The breakfast is delicious, with several options. The room is comfortable and was always clean. The staff is very nice, they booked a tour for us to go to the beach and lent us towels. Every day we had a free bottle of water in our fridge.

We really liked the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We were celebrating our honeymoon and the staff prepared a really nice surprise for us upon our arrival: a very delicious cake and champagne. We want to thank the hotel for this kind gesture, it was a very pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and was cleaned up every day. The food in the restaurant was very good: the breakfast is delicious and diversified, with fresh ingredients. We also ate a-la-carte in one evening and we were blown away by how good the food was - I ate beef steaks in many restaurants in Crete during our stay, but the steak from Kydon Hotel restaurant was by far the best one.

The classic standard room is not for 2 people. The bed is very small, the room and the bathroom are also small. The breakfast was almost the same every day, so when spend more than 3 days there is quite boring.

It was nice to have a balcony, for people that smoke. The staff deserves a 10+, they know how to help people and make them feel good. The area is nice, downtown, close to the old town, but if you have a car this could be a problem, as the parking lots around are paid and not enough.

Great location, a short walk to the old town, all the staff were very friendly, beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet included a great selection of delicious choices.

Great hotel, even though just there for one night stay. Easy check in after late flight, welcome drink voucher, raki and sweet treat in the room. Great breakfast selection and lovely staff. Storing bags and arranging onward taxi was arranged for us

Really nothing. Everything was excellent, in my opinion!

The staff is very nice and professional, and accommodating to my needs. The room is clean and orderly, and the air conditioner worked perfectly. My wife loved the location, as it is close to the old city and port, restaurants and a ton of shops. I’ve stayed at the Kydon two times now, and both times have been outstanding! I will stay at the Kydon again if/when I have business in Crete.

The staff had mixed understanding of what it means to be vegan. Some were very understanding; others shrugged and said, "Maybe we don't have anything." The chef in the morning said we could request anything, but there was enough food for us to eat, although it took a while to find out which food was vegan.

The hotel was perfectly situated and very easy to find. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the family suite was perfect.

Astonishing accomodation. Went here in July for my summer vacation and had an enjoyable time. The rooms are spacious and clean with confortable beds. The cleaning in the room was done daily toghether with changing the towels. Brekfast was included with all you can eat and it was flavourful. They prepar eggs in different ways, many types of cheese, milk, cereals, fruits, some vegetables juices, coffees, croissants, swits, for sure one can find something to eat. The staff is polite. They offered us a beverage on the house upon arrival. There is someone at the reception 24/7. You can leave here your luggage for few hours at checkout. I don t have the photos anymore, but i can guarantee it is very nice

The hotel is very nice and clean! The staff is friendly, polite and helpful which made the whole stay even better. The room was comfortable and nice, ours also had a balcony where we could dry the clothes after beach and rest. Breakfast is also good and has some options, if you don't want to spend morning looking for a place to eat outside. Location was almost perfect, we could be at the city centre in maximum of 10 minutes walk. The hotel also has a parking with a small daily fee, it was very convenient since the island is big and we wanted to explore around with a car.

The lifts are not new...hence slow.

The guys who work at the parking area were simply awesome and so helpful. The hotel is beautifully refurbished and very clean They left little treat for my son in our room and he enjoyed them so much. At breakfast the staff is so welcoming and food was good too.
