A bit out of town so needed a transfer, but if as a car it would be perfect

We arrived there very ill and the next morning we taxied to the Santorini Clinic and had to stay the night to transfer to Athens for 14 days as I had pneumonia and my partner was ill too although not as extensive as I was. This was not the hotels fault however the very nice Receptionist could see we were both ill and proceeded to book us in for a tour the next day. In hindsight we should not have booked the tour. Instead we ended up in hospital. We did not receive a receipt for the tour and therefore couldn't claim on our insurance however we are at least alive thank goodness.

I think you need a car to stay here because we found it to be difficult to get anywhere else than Fira with the bus.

The receptionist gave us a free upgrade so that is always nice :). The hotel is nice and has a great view. I would say it is good for a shorter stay (2-3 days)

The Bed!!!! Convinced the mattress was made of concrete!! We had to ask for a kettle and call into reception everytime we needed a toilet roll !!

The shower is old & rusty, there is no restaurant nearby. You need to have your own transport to go around.

The standard room has no view. We upgraded to have the view. The room itself is cute.

Breakfast selection was not great. No facilities to make your own food as the property does not have a kitchen for lunch or dinner. All tv channels were in greek and bed was not very comfortable

The room was beautiful good location away from the busy town. Pool and sun beds were amazing. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Very nice and polite

I did not like the fact that there was a bad sewer smell coming from the shower and that there was not much privacy between one balcony and the other as they were too close together.

I liked the warm welcome from the receptionist, who was friendly and explained a lot about the city. She was always extremely kind and with a nice smile. The hotel is in a great location because it is a quiet area, only 9 minutes by car from the city centre.

We wish the bed was more comfortable. If we showered one after the other, the water backed up in the drain.

The staff at this hotel is so friendly and helpful! They helped us rent an ATV to get around- it was necessary because we wanted to explore the island without having to pay for multiple taxis. Walking is not advised in this area. We enjoyed our time by the pool and we ate the breakfast the hotel offered. It was good and helped save some money!

The island is small but not ideal to explore on foot and the distance from the hotel to Fira makes for an uncomfortable walk without shade when the weather is hot. While our room was very comfortable overall and had good air conditioning on the ground floor the sleeping area above isn't cooled to the same level.

Check-in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool and comfortable deck chairs with shade offer a welcome retreat from the sun and a wonderful way to cool down. The views from the hotel across the island are beautiful.

The wifi was quite slow. We often had to use our mobile data. We did not always get new towels each day. We realised that it took a few days for our towels to be changed to new ones which was not ideal.

For my partner and I, the location was excellent. It was a 10 minute walk to the closest bus stop which only cost €1-2 to get into Fira. Great value for money. I would not recommend using taxis as this costs €15-20 for a 5 minute journey. Definitely utilise the bus. The hotel itself was lovely, the pool area was super quiet for most of the time we were there. The staff were extremely helpful.

there’s no restaurant or bar for the pool area. There is very little in walking distance so even a bar at the pool would have been nice. you definitely need a car or quad bike etc. the guy who we rented the car off was a bit rude but the rest of the staff were lovely. the breakfast isn’t great.

Bath is outdated, full of calcium deposits, barely had water to shower. The access to and from the hotel is difficult from the main street. The slope is so high that you can easily slip on the bitum. Stairs could help. No issues if you have a car, especially where the hotel has its own parking.

Quiet location, great view, clean pool, great room and terrace. Can see sunrise and sunset is 200m uphill. No mosquitoes or insects. Nicely trimmed terrace garden.

Fittings in bathroom were quite worn and could do with updating. More options for breakfast other than boiled eggs, toast and jam, yoghurt with fruit and cake would have been nice but you did get ALL of these with juice and hot drinks.

Was good to get away from the hustle and get back to this quiet location to recharge.

The owner is fabulous, the view of the room to the pool is relaxing. Breakfast is good and plenty. Rooms are spacious and typical of the region.

No blinders in the window, light was passing. we arrived early like 9am and have been upgraded for €10 each but I think in low season as April it could have be done for free or at least offer a breakfast.
