The breakfast was not that great.

The location was excellent for attending the 7's matches at Hong Kong Stadium and the races at The Jokey Club. There is a Tram stop just down the street that takes you straight to CWB or Wan Chai.

The Breakfast was a three day rotation of Chinese, Western or Mixed. I wish that we could have been able to choose our Breakfast type with the Booking. Since the Dorsett Hotel a short walk down the hill was a sister Hotel you were alloed to go there for their Buffet Breakfast. However you had to pay HK$163 extra per person. It was a strange experience to have to wander down to the Hotel lobby to collect our "breakfast" that was sitting under a heat lamp while new guests checked in at the same time 2 metres away. The rooms and hotel are dated. There is no full hanging cupboard space in the room so we lived out of our suitcases during our stay. There was a small cubby hole for hanging clothes and a drawer for sockes etc. The Hotel needs a revamp. The carpets are old and dirty. The rooms are not checked prior to check is so we had to report a non-working bar fridge and a floppy hand shower. The double bed was a bit hard but we got used to it after a few days. The clear window separaton between bedroom and bathroom was a draw curtain.

The Hotel was in a convenient location. A water filter machine was provided on the ground floor. There was a shuttle to Causeway Bay or Central provided by the Dorsett sister hotel.

Breakfast might be better. Drinking water bottles and water refilling stations might be better if on each floor - or on the 5th floor as well.

It’s a very neat property. It has many of the amenities one needs on a business trip and is no fuss.

Bathroom was a little bit old, but fine.

Location was central to both Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. Easy walk to both locations. Room was good, got an upgrade to a city view. Bed was good too.

Okay, some of the recent reviews have been on the negative side. We found the staff welcoming and helpful. We went in knowing that the facilities on the ground floor were limited. We were stopping for only one night. We wanted a bedroom. And the one we had was a reasonable size. Got what we expected.

Water station was in lobby so had to go 10 floors down to get water every time… the toothpaste provided was in a tearable paper sachet

A focus on being green, so offered reusable water bottle instead of bottled water

Room had a smell from pipes or cigarettes which we asked to change rooms, lifts could take a long time in the morning, limited seating for breakfast (take away boxes) you could have on the 4th floor

you have to have the "Clean My Room" sign before 10AM , that was the only discomfort that I had with the hotel.
