You rarely find a hostel with such a unique, cozy atmosphere. Good value for the money. Great place to stay if you are looking for experiences instead of sterility and perfect comfort.

Great connectivity, near to Heroes square. Paprika restaurant 300mts away from this hostel is must to visit if you want to try Hungarian food (reservation is recomended). For authentic Indian food you can visit Indian Palete which is near to city center.

Both bed and mattrace were very old, not flat, I felt a bit like in a hammock :) BEWARE OF THIS: the rooms are either without a window (these are completely quiet at night, unless there would be parties of disrespectful hostel guests), or might be a bit loud at night and lack intimacy (as their windows face a tiny alley between the noisy main street with the night public transport and hostel entrance, whoch guests use not only to come to the hostel , often loud, but there is also a seating area in this alley). I am sure that the professional and friendly staff ensures there are no loud parties at night at this alley, also as the property neighbors with flats, but they can do nothing with loud returns of hotel guests from night parties as well as with parties in the co-working areas unless you would complain, as the reception is at the entrance door way too far from the main co-work area-

Very professional and friendly staff. Very authentic and esthetic decor. Two different kitchens and even more spaces to socialise or work during the day. Location excellent for the Szeczenyi spa and pretty good for the Keleti station (direct bus just from the front of the hostel) and metro line A (just some 6-8 mins. walk).

Baroque Hostel and Coworking is located right next to the city park and 200 meters from Heroes' Square, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Széchenyi Thermal Baths and the Zoo, also underground is near. Baroque offers simply furnished rooms with low price, everything corresponding with the description of this accommodation.

If there is something that I didn't like, I wouldn't have stayed here for the third time.

Heroes square is very near and also one metro line, which makes it good connected to the city centre and all other places. Price is very reasonable, as well.

The walkway leading to the hostel from the side was uneven. It would be nice if it was leveled.

The hostel was really eclectic. Cute mirrors with rooms behind them. Cosy place with various sitting options for reading or working on the computer. The bus stop was close by so easy to get around.

Pillows could do with a change as they're pretty flat and the glass windows in the doors are inconvenient when someone turns the lights on outside your room when you're trying to sleep

I've stayed here twice already. Super clean hostel. Really fun and interesting layout and they even have a bath. Great location near the park.

the guy at the reception who doesent speak hungarian in the hungarian capital, not that is a problem but still interesting so he wanted to charge me three times more than the cost of the room. Luckily I know hungarian forint and I observed it.

I have been to this place before so I knew it was going to be a nice stay. We got a funny little "upper floor" room but it was OK after all, especially for the low price. The hostel is spacious, it has enough bathrooms and there is a nice homely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is great - not far from the Széchenyi Thermal Bath and the Garay Center market. Several bus stops nearby.
