Irelevamt to the property, but the local water supply has dirty water from the tap. Bottle water, even brushing the teeth. All supplied by the host.

Amazing location, authentic decor, amazing hosts, and hospitality.

    I couldn’t fault it.

Margaret and her daughters were truly hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic and Margaret’s scones and mince pies were delicious.

Room we had was a bit tight.

Margaret is the quintessential Irish host. Made us feel both welcome and at ease. Great breakfast, homemade scones and bread were a treat. The location is more than spectacular. Ocean walk across the street, sheep, farmland and Achill island all visible from out window. We hit it for weather for mid October, with a rainbow on arrival and the morning we left. If you want a true Irish B&B experience book it! One small drawback our room was rather small with not much room for luggage or unpacking, but the small inconvenience is totally out weighed by the view and Margaret.

The road is busy and fast.

Margaret is a lovely hostess, and she was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in this traditional Irish home. It was lovely to be so close to Croagh Patrick.

It was like staying at Grandmother's house

There were so many knickknacks on the shelves in the room there was no space for any of our own things.

We describe this B&B as being like staying at your grandma’s house. Two guest rooms and a common room in an old converted farm house, with a beautiful view of the bay, right next to the road (although what road noise there was did not intrude into the bedroom). Twin comfortable beds, in suite bathroom. Breakfast was an excellent full Irish breakfast made to order.

The only negative point is the fact that we had to pay only cash, so we had to go to the nearest ATM to get cash. Other than that everything was good.

The host was very kind asking us if we needed some bread and/or scones for the next day lunch. A big bonus was a file where there was written all the emergency numbers in case of any accidents. There were even 2 bottles of water, water coming down down from the nearby mountains. She also gave us the key of the back door, as this was the accessible way for my wheelchair. Breakfast was very good. The room was very cosy and the beds too.
