Not many supplies provided in the room - not even salt ! A little on the expensive side. They charge 80 cents for 1 liter of drinking water.

There's nothing we didn't like. However, although the location was amazing, it was far from Pienza (the town), and we didn't know that there were no taxis. We blame ourselves because we didn't do enough research about the village itself and what transportation it offers. We would choose the same place if we had rented a car. People should know that there aren't taxis and limited public transportation.

Poggio Tobruk is one of the unique places that we visited in Italy and even in other countries because the farmhouse is located on a hill in Tuscany, 15 minutes away from the town. The room that we stayed in was extremely beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and spotless. You can find everything you need in it. Don't get me started on the views! It's on another level of spectacular. Farmhouse is on a hill that overlooks the Orcia Valley, which can look differently in different seasons. The owner of Poggio Tobruk "Marco" was a great help. He did us a lot of favors and was ready whenever we needed him. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, and we hope we come back in the future.

Really great place in the center of the Val D'Orcia..location couldn't have been better. The farm was fascinating and I could've talked with Frederico the host all day. He was a cool guy and gave perfect recommendations for tasting vineyards. Couldn't recommend the place enough it was the highlight of our trip.

Everything was perfect and definitely exceeded expectations as the pictures on the website looked ordinary and we were really pleasantly surprised when we checked in. We spent three nights here and it was a shame it couldn't have been longer.Federico was very friendly, genuine and helpful, telling us about the restaurants in the nearby villages and showing us the way. The daily breakfast offered a good choice of cakes, eggs and ham, all very tasty. The surrounding scenery is so beautiful that any photo taken is like a postcard. At night you could see the Milky Way from the garden. It was so nice to just stay in the garden without going anywhere. Next time I come back, I will definitely stay longer, this is a typical Tuscan idyll.

I think the rooms are a bit run down and the bathrooms could use a bit of work.

Grazie mille for welcoming my family and I to this beautiful establishment tucked away in the hills of Pienza. The host booked us a taxi to pick us up from the train station, gave us ingredients to cook dinner, and explained to us how to navigate the city. He was so welcoming and kind and helped with our every need. You will definitely need to rent a car to get around, and we wish we stayed there for one more night to explore the other cities like Sienna. You definitely will get the best view and pictures staying at this Agruturismo and be sure to befriend the other people staying there as well!

Agriturismo Poggio Tobruk nestles on a hill in the middle of majestic Val D'Ordia. As the house is on a hill, we were surrounded by 360 degree greenery of the hill town. It is just 15 minute drive to Pienza, 25 minutes to Montepulciano, Montalcino and a short ride to small towns in Val D'Orcia. Our room is the on ground floor equipped with living room, TV, small kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom with comfy bed. The house is in a Tuscan farmhouse style. We love the vibe very much. It is clean and well-organized once we arrived. Federico greeted us at the front door. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful. Federico is also an amazing host ! The place is near tons of little towns so is easy if you are by car to get to know everything. also is super comfortable and a peaceful place to connect with nature and scape from crowds !!! Grazie per tutto Federico e Marco !!

The location was amazing- we wanted to be in the middle of the rolling green hills of Tuscany and we were! Frederico was friendly and welcoming. Our apartment was lovely and very spacious. Breakfast was basic but nice.
