Walls were very thin which meant noise from other guests and the road kept us awake at night.

I booked this hotel but less than 2 months before the stay the hotel messaged and due to low occupancy they wanted to house us in Hotel Olimpia instead. So this review should be for Hotel Olimpia. We arrived early because the weather was not looking good and we decided to cancel our hike. Fortunately the room was ready for us. Hotel Olimpia normally charge 15 euros per day for parking but because Hotel Al Larin provided free parking, they have to honour free parking for me in Hotel Olimpia. That was good because the carpark is behind and our room was on the ground floor. So wee did not have to go up nor down any stairs with our luggage. Otherwise from the street there is a long flight of stairs to the hotel reception and if your room is upstairs, more stairs to climb. The room was of adequate size for 3 of us. The bathroom was very small though and smells of mold. There was a kettle. coffee and tea, but no fridge. The tv didn't have any English channels. The room was newly renovated with modern decor which is different from their old pictures with dated decor. However they did not have blackout curtains. Also our room face the road and a carpark. So there was traffic noise even till late. We could sleep but light sleepers might find it bothersome. The room was clean and beds comfortable. There are toiletries and the shower is strong and hot. Breakfast had limited variety and the first morning the croissants were either burnt or cold. The hard boiled eggs were cold too. Unfortunately for us, we were mostly stuck in the hotel for the 2 days we were there because it rained all day. The hotel is near shops and restaurants so we could walk around a bit but not for 2 whole days. We will be back and will stay in hotel Olimpia again.

Hotel is a bit faded but clean and comfortable, nevertheless.

Very friendly staff! We stayed here after the hotel we had booked was closed due to a landslide. We weren’t notified about this closure and had to scramble to find an available room. We thought we would only stay for one night because Hoel Latin was a less upscale property than the one we had booked. However, we were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the excellent breakfast that we decided to stay for the full three days of our visit to Cortina.

The bathroom is a bit old, the shower was inside the bathtub, is not very comfortable, I think a renovation would do very good in the hotel overall. But Essentially the bathrooms.

The girl at the check-in desk was absolutely amazing and really helpful with us. We arrived late and important information: there is no restaurant at the hotel! So we asked for few cutlery and glasses so we could eat in our room with some groceries we had bought early in the day and she was really helpful and understanding, she chilled and opened our wine bottle.

An ideal base to explore the ' le tre cime' and whereabouts in the Dolomites. Also close to the Cortina d'Ampezzo city centre 7minutes away by car. Varied and abundant breakfast too.

The price was waaay higher for the accommodation that this hotel can offer. For the amount of money they charge per night and the location which is outside of Cortina, it should at least offer some newer facilities. The breakfast was bad. There were no any warm meals and it looked like someone went to the nearest supermarket, both various snacks and placed in on the buffet. We didn't like that the hotel will charge additional amount if you try to check-in after 8pm.

The hotel is very clean but in desperate need of renovation. Furniture, bathroom, hallways... they all look like they were built more than 20 years ago.
