The location and the breakfast. The lift and the storage of luggage after check-out. Some of the employees are nice and kind. But one man at reception is not very welcoming when I tried to check-in. He saw me approaching the counter while he was trying to sit in front of the computer. He sat down anyway and after I said I would like to check-in, he then slowly stood up and walked to the counter.

If I must find some small minuses: we didn't receive an iron, only a steamer, for a 50 euros deposit, money which they gave back the next morning after handing over the steamer. The bathroom was a little small, it was difficult to enter, the door was not opening fully (due to it's weight, scratched the floor). The floor in the bathroom was not very clean. The walls in the bathroom presented marks of saltpeter.

Very nice hotel, very close to the trains station and also close for visiting the city. It has classy, old stylish furniture. Very organized staff, breakfast started at 7AM exactly. The breakfast was very good, varied, tasty with many options for all tastes. The room was very nice, with hard wood furniture, the windows had a nice arcuate form with a view to an inner courtyard. Good air-condition system, which was good on the hot summer days. The bed was very comfortable, clean, with good pillows. Towels were changed daily. We had a good stay and would gladly return.

It was very hot when we were in Florence. As expected, the air conditioning could not keep the room cool. We used an oscillating fan which helped quite a bit.

It should be noted that the hotel's pricing was slightly expensive compared to similar accommodations in the area. The overall vibe of the hotel had a slightly dated feel to it, which may not appeal to those seeking a more modern ambiance.While the breakfast offered a variety of options, I would have liked to see more vegetarian choices to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences.

The hotel's location, just a 3-minute walk from the train station, was incredibly convenient, making it easily accessible. The staff were exceptionally nice and provided excellent service throughout my stay. From the reception to the housekeeping staff and the restaurant team, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I particularly appreciated the feedback form provided, as it allowed me to share my thoughts and experiences.The cantucini biscuits provided were a delightful touch, adding a pleasant flavor to my stay. The room itself had a cozy ambiance, and the lighting on the rooftop added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere.

The rooms need to be modernised & refurbished. They still have a thick wall to wall carpet & loud wallpaper.

Great location, you are a few min walking distance from the Duomo, restaurants etc. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good: cold cuts, cheese, croissants, bacon, scrambled eggs, my favourite: homemade cakes. All the staff was very friendly except for the gentleman at reception.

Quite noisy room due to the noise produced by the water installation in the bathroom of the neighboring room. Some hot dishes (omelet, fried bacon) were cold every time. Missing some gluten free options at the breakfast.

We were originally put in this kind of Attic room where my 6'5 husband was hitting his head and having to duck to go to the bathroom. It was redone but wasn't going to work. They changed our room to a small room where the orange paint was in desperate need of touch ups with peeling off walls. We didn't want to complain again so just dealt with it. However i probably would not stay there again. For $200 i think we could have found a better place.

The staff were friendly and the location was close to the train so we could easily pick up our bags and get to the train. The breakfast had a variety of foods.

Firstly, in my opinion, the hotel is much much overpriced (we payed approximately 260 EUR per night), thus, in my opinion, the main minus regardin the hotel is the value per money ratio. Another major issue is with the breakfast, which had an extremely poor selection of food (with almost no vegetables and with basic stuff, like omelette or espresso, at extra costs). Another bothering fact was that right at the arrival, despite making the reservation via booking.com (thus having the credit card details), the receptionist asked us to pay at the arrival, leaving a bad impression, making us feel like not trustworthy.

The hotel is excellently located, right near the train station and couple of minutes away from the city centre and all major attractions. The mattress was comfortable, and the rooms and bathroom were clean. The hotel has an authentic Florence style.
