There are many steps to the property which may be difficult with luggage. If you cannot carry your luggage or have mobility issues you will find it difficult. Once checked in you are in the centre of the village but up and away from the noise. We loved the convenience. We also found another route which was easier when leaving.

The name is true and the accomodation is luxury without the price. We were allowed to checkin early and we were upgraded to a larger room with balcony. All communication was seamless. We were given a choice of breakfast which was served on the upstairs balcony with views to the mountains. The bed is comfy and there is no noise. We loved Amalfi and would choose Amalfi Luxury House again. So nice to stay right in Amalfi. It gets overrun during the day but when the daytrippers left we enjoyed the beauty and peace of Amalfi.

Really enjoyed this stay. Up the hill, but not too far up the hill. Room was very nice, tastefully decorated. Quiet. Rooftop space was awesome—incredible views of the mountains. Breakfast was very, very good—served on the rooftop. Large selection—cappuccino, juice, muesli, yogurt, meat/cheese, cornetto, bread, torta, fruit.

One possible issue you might have is the fact that you have to take around 50-80 steps to get into the Amalfi Luxury House. We had only backpacks so it was totaly fine but I can imagine that with a heavy luggage it might be quite a workout. But then again, besides the beachfront Amalfi is full of steps so it is good to think about that while packing.

We were extremely sad to leave the Amalfi Luxury House and wished we could stay longer. The attic room we had was very spacious, clean and had great bed. The bathroom was clean, there were extra blankets and even a heater. Probably the best thing about this acomodation was however the terace where breakfast is served. Lovely views all around and the breakfast was the best and biggest we had during our trip to Naples and surrounding area. Definitely can recommend this place and we might actually come back one day, just to have another peaceful breakfast on that terace while the sun is shining.

Our stay was perfect.

An amazing stay for our first anniversary. The room exceeding our expectations, modern clean and a comfy bed. The stairs to the place was not difficult at all. Lovely breakfast at the rooftop with so many options. Our favourite were the different pastries every day. Location is prime, near shops, restaurants, ferry and bus. Staff are so welcoming and greet you with a smile. We will happily return again :-)

Wonderful breakfast is a la cart and it was really good and plenty! Rooms were spacious even got an free upgrade with bigger one with balcony. Parking was arranged by the hotel and it was fine and on a fair price as well.

Maybe for a luxury stay (that charges a LOT in high season) a full length mirror and coffee maker with capsules would be expected Take note: not for the elderly or if you have mobility issues - the stairs are steep!

The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. They gave us a location to park our car and guided us to the hotel as it was a little hard to find with all the buildings and stairs. They greeted us, gave us a ton of information, and ensured we were comfy.

Great location. Maybe 100 steps climb from main street, but not too steep. Our room was upgraded for free by a staff ehich was unexpected. Room itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Same for the bathroom. Lunch was delicious with a great view on top floor terrace. Pricewise, since is was out of season stay, price was cheap.

An amazing place in the heart of Amalfi. Instagram-type of breakfast on a open roof top palace overlooking the mountains and the oceans. Room had spectacular panoramic views from the balcony as well as there windows. Room size very spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Excellent sound proofing. Washroom and shower were large and no issues. Would be my first choice if I'm in Amalfi again.

Staff provided info around Christmas opening hours of restaurants - this proved to be completely wrong. Most restaurants around closed afternoon of 24Dec, to reopen again on 26Dec. Staff member spent a 3 hour period on the phone metres from our door with a very LOUD conversation with the other side on speaker phone. It was really loud and disturbing.

Room at the Top floor was smaller in height so this was uncomfortable ; Bathroom should have good space to keep stuff; one has to climb 90-100 steps to reach hotel ; not advisable for aged people and those carrying heavy luggage

Amalfi luxury House was a perfect place to stay. I wish I had stayed there longer than one night... It is just a couple of minutes from the centre so it's very quiet and calm on the streets there. They have a small Chapel next to the place, but I really enjoyed listening people singing there from my balcony. ☺️ As it was off-season and there was not many tourists they offered me better room than I booked. The room was really cozy and looked beautiful! And there is a wonderful view to the city and mountains from the balcony. I really liked the system with breakfast. I had to mark out the things that I want from a list the previous day. And got to choose what time do I want to have breakfast. And the the next morning they brought it to my room. Everything was delicious and good quality! The staff was also really helpful and friendly! I hope to come back there someday! 😊
