We had a room above us and you could hear every foot step from the people upstairs.

Host was lovely when talking to him, we had to call him to sort our self check-in. We had a nice large room that was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, though it's worth noting that it's in a room a couple of doors down the road. The host was on hand in the morning to point it out.

- our room window was directly opposed to someone else’s, so you need to have it always closed, which isn’t ideal. - door, floor and toilet weren’t in good shape. - the shower (hydro massage part) wasn’t working properly - fridge wasn’t clean/fully functioning (there was a water leak inside)

- Great location very close to the sea and in the middle of Ortigia - Great value for the money

We loved everything

The spacious , clean and cool studio was fabulous for us , as a working holiday. We booked very last minute as our property in Ortigia was under construction. The staff and owner were fabulous, kind and so accommodating.

Room was very spacious, clean and with all amenities. Breakfast was continental and was good. The setting in the old Jewish Quarter of Siracusa of the resort adds to the beauty of the place. Good qaulity for money.

loved the location! down some cute street in the historic district but you cannot get there by car, nor is there any parking nearby, but the property manger helped us find a place to park for our stay.

our room on the ground floor had no windows, so the only light came from the entry hall through a lited door: meaning if you want light or fresh air, everyone in the common space can see you while you're lying on your bed. very noisy, however just from the neighboring flats and common hall (the street is quiet) most annoying thing: poor cleanliness, mold in the shower, a lot of flies, not possible to leave the luggage after check out I understand Ortigia is an historic site, but this is certainly not a three star accommodation. if they called it hostel, it might be okay

Everything was just perfect! I appreciated very much interest and help with parking from the owner. Parking is very limited in this place and the owner was very helpful and quicky sorted out our problem with rented car and he navigated us to a "hidden" garage which you can not even find on any map...Room was very clean, neat and tidy, quiet place. Breakfast was very good - choice of many things, including fruit. All staff very very nice and prepared perfect coffee ;-)

Toilet was very close to the shower and the shower was very small and with old equipment. The stairs to upper rooms was dangerous because steps were high and narrow. Therefore, the stairs need to be re-conceptualized and realized properly by the owner.

The location was great for exploring island of Ortigia and also is near to a swimming spot. Breakfast was simple, but it was ok. The room was comfortable and clean.

The stairs to upper levels are narrow, be cautious. Bath layout is not great. Shower has lots of hot water and has rain shower which is nice.

The bedrooms are very big with smaller bathrooms. Beds are really comfortable and lots of storage. The location is great for exploring and to restaurants and to the sea wall. A good parking lot is a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was nice and served close by - 3 doors down. Host is very friendly and responds to concerns quickly. We had 2 rooms and one had great wifi and one spotty. Great heater.

we had the only room on ground level (room 101). It had the disadvantage that you have to close the curtains if you don't want everyone passing to look in the room. Try to avoid this room.

Check in was chaotic. Steps to our room as so steep you need a second pair of eyes to ensure you dont take a tumble (and difficult to negotiate with a suitcase)
