Many reviews mentioned a kitchen, with fridge stocked with food. We knew nothing of this. I think we were checked in by the owner's, sweet Dad, who didn't speak much English, maybe a unique circumstance? When we asked about whether breakfast was downstairs. He handed us coupons and walked my husband to a bar where we could get cappucino and croissants for breakfast. They were very good! But we would have liked to know about access to the kitchen. The door to the area, I think reviews are referring to always had a closed door.

The location was great! Close to the square, sites, and good restaurants. It was very clean. And a short walk to the lake, even with my wrenched knee. The little balcony is nice and you can see a sliver of the water. The location is quiet, and the bed is comfortable.

We were woken by very loud noises from a truck outside at 7am using hoses to extract something from the drains, but this was not the fault of the B@B so I didn’t note it in the score. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable and towels were a bit small and scratchy.

The room was well located near San Giovanni close to restaurants. Interactions were pleasant with our host. The room was simple and clean with a small balcony overlooking the square, double glazed windows with blinds, a good firm mattress, and separate bathroom with some grout mould but pretty clean. Breakfast was dried biscuits or crackers, a jug of coffee and warm milk, and juice left for us to help ourselves. Reasonably priced for the area.

Perfect location, clean comfortable room which was bigger than photos shown. The host was there to greet us straight away and provided a small breakfast each morning which was appreciated. Other reviews I’ve read mention the noise but we had no issue with that in the peak of summer. The wifi also was no issue for us at all. Would recommend staying here :)

A little far from train station.

Nice clean place, easy to find, has small balcony. Good location near the church square. Breakfast was provided at a coffee shop near by. Owner was very responsive, always available, she let us stored our luggages after check out to have more time for exploring town.

We had very little Euro as our ATM cards did not work. Owner was not flexible and would not take US $ even with a 20% bonus. We had been told Euros only, but would have stayed elsewhere if there had been another room available in Veranna. The furnishings were sparse, but appropriate with the price. Had to walk 2 blocks to get Croissant and coffee for the breakfast, both were adequate.

The beds were very firm and area very quiet. Although the furnishings were sparse, they were in line with the low price.

No fan, it was very hot and stuffy in the room and leaving the blinds open meant mosquitoes came in. No access to cups or cutlery which would have been nice. Or a kettle to make hot drinks. It was advertised as a B&B however breakfast was just packet biscuits and a packet hard-bread and Luke warm coffee(pre made no ability to heat water or more coffee). Other guests said that they received a voucher for a local cafe to get a small pastry and coffee but not us.

It was very hot and muggy during my one night stay at this B&B and there was no air conditioning. I was never offered a fan. The lady who manages the place seems friendly enough yet she does not speak or seem to understand English and it was impossible for me to communicate this need. I opened the balcony door for part of the evening yet I had to close for most of the night it as it exposed me in bed and many people pass by the area which is very well lit. Other than this, everything was good for the price. I would recommend that they provide each room with a fan!

My room here was as I expected....it was very clean and was ideally located near the church and town square and only a short skip from the waterfront.

Excellent location on the square and down about 30 steps to the front for restaurants and a lovely walk around to the ferry boats. The hotel was really clean and our room was lovely,for us breakfast could have had fruit or yogurts not just crustiny breads and jams and biscuits. The owner was helpful in ordering us a taxi to the train station which is a really good walk up hill. Toiletries offered was a small bar of soap so take shower gel and shampoo with you.

The breakfast is not much of a breakfast (keep that in mind if you're expecting something to fill you up).

The location is unbeatable! You're right in the center of everything and the room is very clean and well-kept. The host was also very kind and accomodating towards us, we really appreciated it! Overall the apartment is clean, well-located, and has all the amenities a traveler might need.
