Lack of on-site staff (they were remote, around 1km away). Access involved passing through a small door (about 1m tall), and up several flights of stairs, which were not illuminated until night-time. My wife lost her footing in the half-light on one occasion, and injured herself

1. Mandatory payment (full payment, not holding) of 200 Euro for 3 nights stay was extraordinary. The staff told us it MIGHT return after 30 days! 2. There were no facilities and amenities inside the room, except a fridge. The low-quality hand wash and shampoos were in small sachets that could not work with Naples's water, which is sulphuric and hard. 3. The bathroom drain used to clog up and after 2 minutes of showering it would get stuck and clogged. 4. The hot water system was a very old type of electric heater that only worked for 1 person. If you are 2 people, you cannot shower one after the other. 5. The walls were like a sheet of paper and we heard the noise of other rooms (other B&B rooms) at night and during sleep. 6. A strange check-in system forced us to go to another part of the city just to check in and then return to the B&B on our own. This part of the trip was also too much of a hassle. 7. Unfortunately, the staff were not very friendly and helpful.

The sink was clogged and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, and when I contacted the facility to help resolve the problem, I was left with no response. There is no kitchen or kettle nearby.

There were a number of small or petty things, which on their own wouldn't have mattered, but put together they made a difference. Things like the light over the sink not working, the shower draining slowly, no stopper on the sink, flimsy or broken towel/clothes hooks, and no extra power sockets in the room. Just a bit of maintenance would go a long way to bringing the room to a better quality standard. The reception was situated some distance away from the room (and the pavements of Naples are NOT designed for pulling suitcases), and tends to get slow and crowded at check-in times.

The best assets were the room's excellent location, and its spacious size. Situated on Piazza Dante (over which it enjoys a great view), the room is a couple of blocks away from Spaccanapoli, the city's main drag, and at the top of Via Toledo which leads all the way down to the Royal Palace. It's within walking distance of most of the main sights in the city, and surrounded by some great cafes and restaurants.

Everything was great except the shower mixer tap which needs to be fixed. It's loose on the screws.

Great place to stay for a couple of days. The apartment is located nearby the metro station. It's fast to go for the most known pizza restaurants in Napoli.

To get the keys we had to travel 15 mins from the room. They didn’t tell you exactly where the room is and Google maps doesn’t even bring you to the right place. When you try to communicate with them, they were super rude on the phone and they do not understand English. The walls were not sound proof and you can hear everything that happening outside. The bathroom door you have to almost kick it to open it. The shower door didn’t close properly which was annoying to take a shower as it kept moving.

There is a bit of a smell in the bathroom, but if you close the door it doesn’t disturb. I think it is related to the plumbing system in the building.

The location is fantastic, the room is bright and spacious, bathroom also very good size.

Reception was 1.5km away from the room. WiFi stopped working, and although the receptionist promised to get it working again, it never returned.

The receptionist was very helpful, and did her best. The room was in the best location possible - you cannot get more central than Piazza Dante!

It was a pleasure staying the night here. The location is perfect and the room was comfortable and very pretty decorated. I even appreciated the small door to enter in the building lol. I do really suggest!!

One lady at the reception desk (a very young one) was very nice, while the other lady with black hair (possibly the manager) spoke up and was very rude and shouted over my question. the 20-minute journey to the reception was unexpected. The information on the website is not accurate... found a bug found itself in our bathroom. there was no hot water in the bathroom while the first person was bathing and there were two of us. Definitely will come back but won't use clapa.. it was a mistake.

Firstly the wifi didn’t work at all and when I asked the staff to fix it they said my devices were not working and the wifi was fine, they were belatedly rude over messages and since the reception is 10 minutes away they did not care to come and fix the issue till 24h later where I was just told again it was my device not working even tho he had the same issue on his phone, next the room stank horribly the whole time I belobe it was from the water or pipes in the sink or toilet and the safe didn’t work at all. Wouldn’t not recommend

The BB is in Piazza Dante, but you have to collect the keys in a totally different area of the city, so if you have luggage, you are tired or simply don't want to walk for 1,2 Km (or pay 15 Euro taxi to cover the distance), it's really a hassle. Once you get there, you will have to check in autonomously: you will be handed by the staff a tablet to insert yourself manually all your details, ID number and take a picture of the ID as well. Again, a tiring procedure that I do not recommend anybody. (There's the option to insert the details online, but in my case, I received the message on the following day (?). Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else, the low price is not worth the hassle in my view.
