A bit pricey for one person,

Everything was excellent. Giovanna, the host, was so helpful and charming. The location was perfect, right near Piazza Vecchia yet very quiet. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the linens etc were of a very high standard. Tea and coffee were available. Entry was by code which was sent on the day of arrival. I was able to leave my suitcase and collect it later on the day of departure. I highly recommend BeB San Lorenzo.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful B&B! It is in the heart of Città Alta, which is just delightful, and we were close to many great bars and restaurants. Giovanna, the host, was lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is absolutely perfect in the Citta Alta of Bergamo. The communication with Giovanna was just so great. She is extremely nice and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and decorated in a shabby chic style Great attention to all details, Water provided in the room, biscuits and a selection of teas and instant coffee in the reception there is also a coffee machine that can be used. I would go back for sure.

The mattress on the bed was an old spring mattress, which was a bit creaky and sunk as you lay on it, could use a refresh.

Location was perfect, right in the heart of the old city Bergamo. Rooms were clean, quiet and well equipped, shower had great water pressure. Giovanna was an excellent host, kind and very responsive and let us leave our bags for a few hours after checkout. When we bumped into her when she was cleaning the rooms she gave us a great suggestion to stay a couple more hours and visit the small village San Vigilio up the funicular from the old city. We had a great stay and would visit again!

It wasn't too clear what the breakfast situation was, but we were so close to so many cafes that it wasn't really an issue.

The location is perfect - right in the centre of the old city with plenty of restaurants within a few minutes' walk, and just far back enough from the street so that there's little noise. While we didn't get to meet the host, she checked in more than once by phone to make sure we were all good.

Giovanna gave us all the info we needed in advance to find the property. It was very easy to access the property using the codes. The place was a home from home and we loved the way it was decorated. Giovanna was very nice and gave us lots of information about Bergamo.

Thanks for the clear instructions with pictures and the messages to plan the arrival. The host is personable and attentive, standards are high. The location is ideal for a visitor, a 5-8 minute walk from the bus stop, inside the walls.

My mother and I were ending our trip in Italy with one night in Bergamo before flying home and after staying here at B&B San Lorenzo I wish we could have stayed longer. Such an adorable property located so centrally in the Citta Alta - the most picturesque part of the city of Bergamo. Only a few minutes walk from the Funicular rail, which has a bus stop at the bottom to take you directly to/from the airport. The property was immaculately clean and the host Giovanna who we spoke to on check out was so friendly and welcoming. We checked ourselves in to the property no problem with Giovanna’s perfect directions and instructions. Would love to return again to stay here
