The area is not the best one, we didn't feel secure when we were returning to the place late in the evening. Overpriced like most of the accommodations in Bologna.

A very cute place with a nice host. The host is a lady who doesn't speak English but nevertheless we encountered absolutely no problems communicating with her.

Some equipment is a abit old and for the price this would be not really okay. A price for a single person should be not more than 60 Euros for the level of furniture, but the owner is very kind and helpful.

The location is perfect, about 5 min walking to the city center. The room is rather quiet and big, it has a fridge. Wifi is very fast, the TV also has real TV programmes such as Rai. It is really clean. The owner is very helpful and kind.

Bologna is a remarkable city that deserves to be visited alongside the most popular Italian tourist centers. Hotel Dolce Vita is located on Via Guelmo Marconi near the historic center of Bologna. There is a supermarket opposite. The room we stayed in did not have its own bathroom with a toilet, it was located on the floor and was used by other visitors as well as the hosts themselves. This inconvenience is not particularly great for a short stay like ours. Although the hotel is advertised as a B&B (Bed&Breakfast), instead of breakfast, only self-service coffee and tea and individual biscuits are offered. Unfortunately, the women who served the hotel were not very friendly to us and one of them even allowed herself some inappropriate remarks. However, the hotel's convenient location near Bologna's historic center makes it acceptable for a short stay.

- host didn't speak English, which is fine, but kept messaging to ask when we would arrive, which was a bit annoying when we were travelling and didn't actually know. Apparently there was a fee if you checked in after 7pm - advertised as private bathroom but it was actually a separate bathroom across the hall from our room, which seemed to be unlocked (so it may have been shared) - not really in hosts control but in the morning someone kept ringing the doorbell for the floor, a bit noisy.

Location is great. Pretty good value for money and relatively clean. Fan and air-conditioning in rooms.

There was a smell of cigarettes in the apartment. It was difficult and stressed for us to find this apartment and the owners did not send any clear instructions. When we asked for an iron, we were told that there was no such service, although the next day the employee ironed the clothes. Employees don't speak English. Shared bathroom with the hostess. Considering all the disadvantages, I think this room should cost less

It's in the city center and has easy access to attractions. upon meeting we were offered coffee. on the day of departure we were allowed to leave our things in the storage room in order to walk around lightly and pick them up later.

The behaviour of the woman checking us in , she was so rude. Also please be aware while booking they charge extra €10 per day for airco and for check in after 7pm extra charge is applied .

Breakfast is very simple. I personally didn't mind, but if you like a good big breakfast, you might want to eat outside.

Pretty good place for the price. It's very clean and spacious, managed by a sweet lady. She doesn't speak English much, but we managed. Great location. 10-12 minute walk to Maggiore and 15 minute walk to train station. All in all, I was happy with my stay.

when you read about a b&b you do not expect you will have a room in someone’s apartment. That being said, the room was totally private, spacious and with a big on suite bathroom

The whole accommodation smells like smoke which was really unpleasant. And the lady who owns the place is very rude. We didn’t eat anything from the breakfast because I think it was there for three decades.
