How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not much to dislike
Great location (5-10 minute walk from the train station and 10 minute walk to center of Peschiera old town). Good sized and clean room with small balcony. Great and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and overall great value for money

We visited Gardaland and it was perfect, closed to bus station and railway station. Breakfast included, not very diversed but good for 2days stay.

Our room was at the front of the main building so this meant a fair bit of traffic noise from road outside.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice. Large room with comfortable bed and large balcony.

Shower Plenty of hotwater and terrific pressure spoilt by too small a handset,would be perfect if replaced with a variable patten wide head hand set No kettle in room, knew this beforehand and took our own travel one.

Staff were very friendly. Location was great, within walking distance to the centre. Around 5 minutes walk from train station/bus stop. Nice breakfast. Great to have luggage storage during the day after check out.

There is practically no territory. There is no kettle in the room. But its ideal for visiting the park and a short/transit stay.
We stayed here as two families to visit Gardaland. Overall a nice hotel with free parking. 2 buildings. Very tasty breakfast. Nice rooms + availability of family rooms, which is generally rare. Very nice balcony. Very close distance to both the park itself and nearby shops and cafes. It seems to me that this is simply an ideal place to attend activities in this region.

The irate chef who came screaming at us to stop playing with a ball in the pool. ( we were the only people by the pool)and threatened to have us thrown out. He said we had to use the kids play area....my sons are 23 and 17 !!! Need signs by pool so that people know
Great hotel on outskirts of Pescheira. Good sized rooms with large clean bathroom and A/C. Reception staff (thank you )and housekeeping were really helpful and very nice. Breakfast had plenty of choice. Great restaurant over the road. The pool was a bonus as it was so hot when we stayed. Always quiet so plenty of sunbeds

Staff need to be more relaxed about children playing in the pool if it is empty of other residents. Children who were playing gently were being shouted at via the speaker phone system as they were being watched on security. It doesn’t make it feel like a family hotel as you feel watched

A kettle in the room would definitely be a good upgrade.
We stayed 6 nights. A nice and very comfortable family run hotel. Excellent location to explore the area on foot including evening dining or go to the nearby parks and the lake area by car, plenty of parking spaces, diverse very good breakfast, and a nice pool as an unexpected bonus - all being very affordable as compared to other options in the area.

We liked the hotel and its location (very near to train station, where a free bus to Gardaland is provided). The rooms are big enough for 4 persons, very comfortable. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. Kids loved swimming pool. We liked Peschiera de Garda. Definitely we will come back here again.
