Had a little difficulty communicating with Francesca. Told her I would be in touch with her on WhatsApp on the arrival day, but apparently the WhatsApp number is her husband's. There was very little response, and we ended up having to wait outside with our luggage until Francesca came to meet us. Was a little nerve-wracking during this time, since we weren't sure what was happening; but after that, everything went smoothly. The internet/wifi was slow as well. But otherwise, we were generally happy with the room.

there are steps to climb in vernazza for most places so one needs to be ready to do that , some issue with hot water one of the days , but nothing to dislike really

Excellent location. Quite a few steps but this is the Cinque Terre- steps everywhere. Very comfortable mattress. Pristine. Great to have a kettle and fridge in room for drinks and breakfast. Francesca was generous in sharing information about walks off the busy trails.

The room entrance is a bit of a climb from street level, but Francesco showed us a back way from the room down to town that minimized the number of steps.

Francesca and Francesco are wonderful hosts and provide an excellent stay in Vernazza. They were welcoming and helped us manage our luggage on arrival and as we departed. The view from the room is even better than shown in the photos.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

It was in a great quiet location and Francesca was a super friendly and helpful host. The room was spotlessly clean with everything you need. It had a beautiful view out of the window where you could sit and enjoy a drink, I would have loved to have stayed longer. I highly recommend staying here 🥰

Wonderful location! Francesca made you feel like family. Answered questions about the area and was extremely helpful with questions on navigating trains in Italy. Exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Highly recommend if you are going to this area. One of the bonuses is that you get a great workout going to your room. Like all areas in Cinque Terre, you must be in shape to navigate all the steps.

There are several steps leading to the room. Be warned if you have a large heavy suitcase!

Francesca’s sea view room was perfect! I stayed for five nights, and spent my days hiking 5-6 hours. It really felt like a home away from home. The table by the window was the perfect place to relax after hiking with a novel and glass of wine. View was great. Facilities all fine.

It was a great stay in Vernazza. The place has all you need for a visit to Cinque Terre. It is beautifully located overlooking the town. The view from the window is amazing. It's very close to the train station and steps away from trekking trail. Our bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom had great towels and was spacious. Francesca and her husband are wonderful hosts. I definitely recommend this place and Vernazza - it's the best of all 5 Cinque Terre towns and it is worth to stay there instead of just visiting.

There were more stairs than expected, which was difficult with luggage. There is another path that is gentler on the knees and easier than our first trek up.

Room is very clean and comfortable but very very small. There is no coffee macchine and we could not get the hot water teapot working even though Francesca later confirmed it works.

Great location! Francesca is very sweet and gracious. she kindly kept our luggage for free at her store after we checked out until we were ready to catch our train. she also helped us to get some euros which was a huge help.

Very friendly and welcoming owners. Comfortable, clean and well-equipped room with seaside view over the roofs of Vernazza, not far from the entrance to the hiking track towards Monterosso (great spot to view the sunrise over Vernazza). The owners live next door and are approachable for questions; they also arranged so I could pick up my luggage in the afternoon at their local shop next to the train station. Hope to visit again in the future!
