Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkLater in the evening we didn’t have warm water.
The location and the whole experience was great! Our plane was late for 2 hours, but the reception is open for 24 hours, so it wasn’t a problem. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was nice that the place has swimming pools, market, bar, so we didn’t have to go far for what we needed. It was full of life the whole day, there was live music at the bar, and events like yoga and excercises at the pool both for grown-ups and children. We went to the center of Rome every day, and there is a bus station nearby, so it was easy to travel. (Buses are often late, but they come in every 15 minutes.) I highly recommend this place for everyone.:)

Sweden1: the terrace (floor, chairs, table) was very dirty and were full of spider net (we cleaned it) 2: one of the chairs was broken and we almost fell when we sat on it. 3: there was dried blood on one of the beds. Very disgusting 4: The locker of the main door was very hard to lock and the handle bar was lose. 5: the outside lamp was broken 6: the stove was not fully working 7: we waited like 30 minutes to buy a bus ticket from the reception. So many easy things to fix that hasn’t been fixed, it’s a shame because you could easily have avoid this bad review. besides those things we had a great stay.
great place for kids with a lot of activities. supermarket in the camping, quick service when needed.

BrazilBathroom (toilet compartment) could be bigger, but nothing that got on the way. No mid-stay cleaning or replenishment of soap / shampoo / toilet paper - those needed to be requested at the entrance
Interesting concept that i wasn't expecting. The complex offers a lot of options (pool, supermarket, restaurant) while still guaranteeing a pleasant stay in the chalets. If you have a car in Rome it is a good choice for flexibility and tranquility not too far from the city center.

United KingdomThere were slugs in the cabin even when the door was kept closed, the shower didnt have a curtain/blind so in the morning it was super bright in the room, burn marks on floor, and be aware of the smelly cat who loves the resturant!
It was easy, cabin roomy, it was quiet, easy to find/get too, the market was handy

GermanyThe floors were moist even the bed which makes me a little uncomfy. I thought the hot shower was not working, but i realized its the opposit (on the right) to make it work. I also hope the could cut the plants near the bus stop. It was almost covering the entire pathway, really scary it might ruined our clothes. also i wasnt able to sleep well, the youngsters next door was too loud since 10pm till 4am even we are in separate villa. maybe they could implement lower noise after 11pm or 12am?
Friendly staff. The place itself has a lot to offer. They have mini mart, swimming pool, cafe. Ideal if you have kids. There is a nearby bus stop. 45 min to Termini if you plan to visit the city. They have basic utensils ready (normally you see in airbnb) . You can cook too. Clean toilets and bathroom. I will definitely go back .

LebanonI wanted at least cups in the room and a water heater but i guess what was available at our last minute reservation tends to go towards a camping theme ... with a hair dryer and mini fridge though.
Huge resort, with hundreds of mini houses/bungalos/ tents/ trailors away from the city inside the woods. Cute romantic resto with very good food, a supermarket to shop, mini golf to play, swimming pool to spend the day, space to walk... i mean 3 days easy. Center Accessible within 40 min bus + metro ride (1.5€ cost, can tap and pay too btw) and the coast was a 20 min bus ride in the other direction towards the coast (an activity we didnt get to do though on our 2 day trip) All in all it was exceptional.

Excellent location, halfway between Rome and the coast. We traveled by car so I can't rate the public transport from/to Rome. By car OK, but the roads are sometimes not in the best condition and you have to be very careful because of the way Italians drive :-) Very good bungalow, in good condition and comfortable, excellent sports base - swimming pools, playgrounds.

NetherlandsThat we came just before everything opened up. Also there was not much toiletpaper in the room, we bought some ourselves. The door of the room didn't close properly on top, so cold air came in. It wasn't uncommon that there was no hot water.
We came in the wrong season so most things were still closed. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The food was good. Easy transport to Rome closeby. Marchello, the shorter older man with gray hair (forgot the name) and the young woman at the bar with long blonde hair.
