The cleanliness might have been better. Especially in the shower.

It is a very good place near the sea, the host gave us some nice local restaurants. The place has all that is necessary for a nice and cosy stay.

Wow! This is a gem of a property that will give you the real Sicilian experience. The owner, Pietro, is charming and makes you feel so very welcome . The apartment is ideal if you are travelling alone and certainly much bigger than most. From the kitchen door and the kitchen window you can see and hear the Tyrrhenian Sea. There’s a small terrace there too with a table and room for a couple of chairs. You can sit and watch the sea and the sweeping Trapani cityscape which changes its shapes and moods as the light changes throughout the day. If you fancy a swim a small sheltered beach is just there or dive straight in from the rocks. The fixture and fittings are a little tired but that to me was a comfort– there is nothing worse than going somewhere and feeling that you might just break something. Location is everything. Outside the front door is the Ligny Tower were you’ll see incredible sunsets - quite literally 20 seconds walk from the door. Within a couple of minutes’ walk you are at the fisherman’s port. Head there in the morning and buy fresh fish straight off the boat. There is also a corner shop which sells all the basics for cooking and loads of seasonal; fruit and vegetables There is absolutely no need to head off to all the busy restaurants when you can cook your own fresh fish supper and watch the sea and the sunsets at Casa San Liberale.

If you do not speak Italian, it can be complicated to communicate with the host. Also not sure thou if we will not be fined due to parking in Zona Traffico Limitado- because this is where the host said we could park, but signs said otherwise. I wil see if in a year, we recieve a fine.

The view from the window is amazing- the space itself silent and nice. Simple but for a night-comfortable.

The host is very friendly. The house is comfortable, but unfortunately there was a bit of a smell in the bathroom. Otherwise it was clean. The location is amazing, you couldn't be closer to the sea.

Despite we had informed our host about time od our arrival in advance, we were waiting for him for more than three hours. The host was inaccessible on pohne, Apps etc. in the meantime. It was quite frustrating.

In the morning of first day i recived a message that this morning something happened in the bathroom in our room and we need to be relocated to other room. (Previous rewievs also mentioned this excuse to relocate just before check in). We got a small room without a kitchen that we paid for. The walls were covered in something looking like mold (yellow stains) and in the AC and the fridge were some black spots looking like it was not cleaned in a while. Apart from this there were many ants in the room and crushed mosquitos on the walls.

Perfect location, close to city centre and small Beach. Good contact with the host but he does not speak any english. Nice view from the window.

Mr D’Amico has been the kindest host. There was an issue with the bathroom in the room we had rented, but before our arrival he let us know about the issue and sent us all the related information to a beautiful, fully equipped and perfectly located appartment he offered us as a substitute. On top of that, his recommendations were incredibly useful, and he had been a most wonderful and welcoming host. We couldn’t recommend it more.

We paid for ocean view, air conditioning, wifi, and more. NONE of that was true in the room we were shown. We left and still have not heard back from booking.com about receiving a refund for this bate and switch.

If you like the real Sicilian atmospheres it is the perfect place to stay. I love so much the traditional house, there was everything in a flat also air conditioner. The best was the kitchen door that we could be at the seaside. The owner was a very kind man and there was no problem with my special requests. I love this flat so much.

Some more plates, utensils and glasses would have been preferable. However, this is soley as we ate breakfast in the flat most days. However, this is merely a suggestion and in no way hindered my experience.

The location was incredible. Ocean view, metres away from a small beautiful beach. Within 5 minute walk proximity a number of amazing restaurants. Within 20 minutes walk you have access to most things.

The area was near wonderful; near the centre but quiet and authentic with lovely views. Lots of amenities nearby and very handy for the port. We would definitely return.

The bedroom has no window and the sheets are synthetic There is a strong smell in the flat. Finally, although I asked the owner the send me the address where to park, he didn't. Only on my arrival he badly explained it to me and that resulted in receiving a fine.

The location is very good and pleasant although a view from the flat (ground floor) is on a concrete wall. The kitchen is spacious and the air conditioning is ok.
