What's not to like? Beautiful hotel, fabulous facilities, friendly staff, great food.... one of the loveliest hotels in the world. I particularly loved the beautiful infinity pool. Great spa and gym too. Just go!

All prices in restaurants/bars are unbelievable high as well as the price per night.

Everything was perfect except the prices. Great views, very kind people and cozy/ancient atmosphere. All services were on exceptional level. Food was very delicious.

We like everything in the hotel. The view and environment were breathtaking and unforgettable. It was definitely one of the best hotel we have ever been to. The spa was beautiful and relaxing. We also enjoyed so much for the hospitality of the staff, they were so helpful and took very good care of us. We even received a bottle of wine and free upgrade from them to celebrate our honeymoon. Though it was a bit expensive but we think that it was totally worth it.

That we couldn't stay longer.

The price was high, but it was well worth it all the way, I won't go into details because I don't want to ruin surprises but it was the best stay I've had in any hotel I've been to in my life. Also, don't miss out on the truffle hunt!

Some issue with the toilet water not stopping to flow. We asked for a fix but it wasn’t helpful. not too major. Also - our room on the 3rd floor was next a chimney that was burning wood all morning (pizza oven). It caused our room to be filled with smoke which wasn’t a nice experience. They suggested a room change but we just decided to avoid the hustle and keep this window closed. there’s a couple of other windows we could open.

Exceptional service and a beautiful hotel. The team was supper attentive and happy to assist with everything. Room is spacious, very clean and also the shower and bathtub are great. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is great with nice selection of food and great service.

Absolutely beautiful!! Couldn’t have asked for a better location for our honeymoon. The staff was incredible and took the time to make us feel special. The pool and grounds were amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

Everything was perfect, location is amazing, best food I had in Italy, the view from every corner of the property can’t be matched. Service was impecable. I am a very picky traveler, I’m only used in staying in the best hotels around the world and this hotel is definitely in my top 5 hotels ever. We had a suite booked and received a complimentary upgrade, the suite and the view were amazing, we were sad to leave

One small note, it would be great if the bathroom vanity sets are replaced more regularly as part of the cleaning.

Amazing location, excellent service. We travelled with our baby and got an amazing service (received a room upgrade to cater to our baby needs). The hotel and staff are very relaxed and friendly while providing a super service. Not pretentious at all compared to other 5 star places we have stayed at but really just wanting to make sure you have a good time. This is our second time staying at a hotel from the Belmond group and we loved it again.

Service is too slow and a lot of requests were missed. Examples are: 1- we arrived and asked for a third bench for the outdoor terrace as we were a family of three. none arrived. 2- at the breakfast , you have to repeat the order and follow up on your orders many many times to get them right then to your table. 3- While water bottles are available everywhere at the property, in the room, at the parking, in the lobby etc... , at the pool if you ask for a bottle of water they charge you 5 euro... not sure why ? you could get the bottle from your room or from the concierge. 4- Spa booking: pls understand the rule of booking as when we checked in we were asked if we like to book and we said in principle a certain time and date to be confirmed, to find out later on that if we miss our time we are in the cancellation policy and we will be charged. We had to explain to all staff and manager that one we did not confirm, two we were not informed and three this is not the right way to welcome a guest at the hotel.

Location is excellent, the property is magnificent, the breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and the private terrace is a great value to privacy while being outdoor. the Manager was responsive to the issues we faced so well done to the customer service.
