It’s the 2nd time I’ve stayed here! This will ALWAYS be my “place to stay” in Florence! It’s quiet , clean , and can’t beat the location. The Duomo is less then a 5 min walk and the train station is about an 8 min walk! Love the staff and the facilities are confortable and up to date! 💕

This hotel is a hidden gem - Close to the Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and within the San Lorenzo limits. Despite being close to the main road with cars/people constantly passing by , the hotel has a very serene vibe. The breakfast was pretty decent for the price served with amazing coffee

Only one small thing. Room and reception are on upper floors, so either you'll have to take the stairs or there is a lift. Only issue is you may be waiting for the lift for some time if it is in use, but overall we had no issues

Amazing location! Close to the transport links so you don't have a short journey with suitcases, but super close to the central sites and restaurants. Room was also very comfortable and friendly staff

Would have been good to have some long-life milk in the room with the coffee machine. Otherwise no complaints.

Perfect location. Easy to reach the station on foot, and the Mercato central was just around the corner too. Didn't stay for breakfast as left too early, but they kindly packaged up a pastry for me to take with me. Room was lovely.

My only complaint is the air conditioning has to be controlled by the front desk, you have no control in your room to adjust without contacting the front desk and once you’ve been gone for the day you need to contact them again to turn the AC on. This should be able to be controlled by you in the room and they should let you know when you check in that they control the AC

The air conditioning unit wasn’t easy to use, we weren’t able to change it from heating to cooling during our stay so just decided to leave it off.

The location was great, close to the Piazza Del Duomo and plenty of shopping and rooftop bars. The room was clean and always restocked and tidied before our return each day.

There was more than enough space in the room to add a small dresser for our clothing. There was only a rack to hang our items and it was directly above a piece of furniture (fridge and safe) so long items did not fit at all. We chose not to have our room cleaned the second day so we went to the lobby to ask for additional coffee pods. When we checked out, we saw that we were charged for them!

The room was beautiful and the bed/bedding was very comfortable. Also loved the addition of the small nightlight that helped when we woke up in the middle of the night. We also loved the outdoor terrace.

Before arriving, we asked for luggage storage and they mentioned that they were not able to confirm if luggage storage was possible for December 24th, but in any case, they could provide information regarding some places (nearby) where we could store our luggage in case they can't do it. So, on Dec. 24th they confirmed us that they can't store our luggage (which is ok, as they already advised this can happen) but the dessapointing thing was that they didn't provide complete information of the options we had to store our luggage in a reasonable near place, they made some recomendations but they were not sure about timing and availability, etc. I'm sure they tried their best to advice, but it was a little disappointing.

Room had a very good size and all was very clean. Staff was polite and kind.

Loved staying at this hotel! The staff was wonderful! The location was perfect because it was close to main attractions, a quick walk from the train station, and easily walkable to the other side of the river. The room was very comfortable, clean, and updated. I loved the rainfall shower! The breakfast offered at the hotel was great too. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable here and highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The location was very central, close to the Basilica di San Lorenzo, the Medici Chapel, the Mercato Centrale (Central Market of Florence) and within 10 minutes walking to the famous Duomo. Very nice for shopping or sight seeing. The only 'negatives', because Booking.com asked for these too, might be that the kettle boils very slowly but that seems to be normal in Rome hotels as well. Also the rooms need to be reached by stairs or lift. Even the reception is on the first floor (premier etage), not ground floor.

This was the best booking for the whole of the Italy trip this time. The room was a nice size and the shower facilities good. Good lighting especially the night time bathroom lighting is a really nice touch as it is discreet and not blinding. Really liked the courtyard garden where you can take breakfast. As I visited in late October the weather was still fine, and not burning hot, just very pleasant Breakfast is scrambled eggs option with ham and cheese - be aware it is not English style scrambled eggs, it's just scrambled with ham (parma/proscuitto) and cheese embedded in the eggs if you want it. The staff will also let you store your bags if you want to do a bit more of Florence on the day you check out, which is very good.
