The hotel was in a secluded location away from the main tourist attractions. It was quick ferry ride to the main part of Venice and it was nice to stay somewhere removed from the chaos of crowds. The breakfast was very good and available from 7:30 to 10:30. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

the room i got was quite dark since it was in the first floor and the window was facing a wall. something you might want to take into account is that by staying in Giudecca, you will need to take the vaporetto to go to the city center, which adds to the expenses

the premises were very clean. The staff spoke english and some of them spanish too. Breakfast was very good. Generally was quiet and was able to get good rest.

Shower and bathroom quite small for two people and the shower head kept falling down which was annoying.

Location on Giudecca ideal. Vaporetti stations close by and so nice to escape back to the quiet and tranquility of Giudecca after a visit to St Marks Square etc. Room on the small side, but perfectly fine and had a great aspect out over a small canal. Breakfast very good. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful

location is fantastic - quick ferry to the biennale and San Marco - easy connection to the train station and wonderful sitting by the water dining opportunities.

Small bathroom. The location means you need to get the waterbus which is expensive however its a lovely island but major sites will need you to take the bus

We didn’t have the best room as the others had a canal view and coffee making facilities. We were nearly charged for the bottles of water in the fridge but this was dropped as I said we weren’t told. Nice continental breakfast but tinned fruit.

The hotel is spotlessly clean with very helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely and cool in boiling weather and handy for the Palanca Vaporetto stop. Room cleaned every day.

hotel was clean and well maintained. staff were always friendly and helpful. being Giudecca it was quieter but that was an advantage as also had some great restaurants with great views across to St Marks

Room was very dark with not enough lights inside. Or probably it was enought lights but bulbs were not bright enough. So when you doing your makeup in the evening, it's really a struggle. In general everything is slightly dated and even thought I scored it as a good value for a money (as I guess it is for Venice) to me it is rather 3 out of 5 on value. I can't say that I'm very picky and usually leave dislike box empty or nearly empty. But with this hotel I have mixed feelings. There is nothing what I hardly disliked, apart from the lights in the room. But I can't say that I really did like the place and would like to stay again.

Good breakfast, but if you are lover of something worm keep in mind that they do serve continental breakfast. Friendly receptionist who checked us in and out, unfortunately can't remebr his name. Rooms are clean and so is bed linen. Waterbus stop is couple min away.

We booked a superior room in the expectation, encouraged by the photos, that we would get a large room with comfortable seating where we would be able to relax and read. This wasn't the case. There were also frustrations with the plumbing and lighting.

We very much enjoyed our quiet room facing the canal behind the house. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and the staff was excellent. The Giudecca location was perfect for us with just a 5 minutes walk to the Vaporetto for access to the rest of Venice.

I suppose the coffee machine. It would be nice in a place like this to have coffee made for you I do hate these little electric machines the coffee taste absolutely disgusting that's the only negative

It's just perfect tucked away the staff were amazing the location was idyllic and you couldn't really ask for much more

A bit difficult location for the night because you have to take a boat for the main island and after midnight there is a boat every 45 minutes
