The hotel is a bit dated and needs refurbishing but please don't let that put you off. They need you there to reinvest and refurb. You will still have a great stay there..

Mattress and pillows not very comfortable and showering was a bit messy (shower curtain doesn't go all the way to the bottom and the bathroom area gets flooded)

Hotel is right next to railway, so it can be loud, particularly during the night. Bathroom needs an update. Also, sweet breakfast, which is usual for Italians, is not for everyone.

Nice and comfortable stay. Hotel has a old Italian vibe. Owner was forthcoming and polite. Internet was very good. Room was spaces and cleaned every day.

Hotel is between Main Street and railway, so it’s louuud. the beds are really old and almost broken, so not comfortable. The same with Shower.

Hotel is 10 minutes from the beach. Host is nice and willing to help. a lot of place for Parking. everything is clean.

It got a little noisy at some periods in the evening, but that was the fault of inconsiderate guests and not the ownership. There is some street noise but for the price, it is worth using earplugs rather than spending much more for a location without any street noise.

The owner is extremely knowledgeable about the surroundings. Breakfast is included and the service is wonderful. He gave us a ride to the bus station. We could not be happier with our experience at Hotel Eliseo.

1. Extremely close to train tracks - last train passing shortly before midnight. 2. Paper thin walls dividing rooms. Other guests can be heard very clearly whilst doing their own things in their respective rooms. 3. Beds are showing their age / springy / slightly noisy. 4. Shower without enclosure - but with a curtain.

I have nothing bad to say about my stay at this property.

My stay at Hotel Eliseo was fantastic. Pietro and his partner were very kind and accommodating, I felt very much at home. The hotel is very cosy and homely. I found the bed to be springy but comfortable. Shower was basic but nice and hot. Located on the main road so noise from traffic was to be expected and the occasional train passing by. Neither of these things troubled me, but worth a mention. Within walking distance to a very good deli and patisserie. 5-10 minute walk to the sea, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you are an hours’ walk up to Taormina (or a short bus ride away!). Pietro was very helpful and drew me a map to direct me there by foot :) Taormina is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! Be sure to go and do check out the view from Belvedere di via Pirandello :) it will take your breath away. Pietro and his partner went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Grazie mille per la vostra gentilezza e arrivederci !

Everything was perfect. This place raises the bar when it comes to hospitality. The hotel gives what it promises and even more. The staff do their job on an exceptional level. The breakfast is nice and simple. It's the same everyday but it becomes addictive immediately (why change a perfect morning ritual?). All in all a great hotel for the price. The bathroom is equipped with all that you will need and the views are awesome from the terasses (we were at the top floor). The beds are nice and comfy, and you have enough space and enough furniture for your stay (though a mini-fridge would be nice to cool some drinks) Only thing is that the hotel is on a street with no sidewalks, but thats a fault of civil planning and not the hotel. When renting a room here one is in great, proffessional and caring hands.

This hotel should not be offered by booking.com. The bathroom and the room was like living in a cage. It was a nightmare spending two nights here
