Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

HungaryLocated close to Amalfi coast, but enough far to find more authentic food like often at Amalfi"s trendy places. Good breakfast served, there is a good local restaurant just about 250 meters.

GreeceNo soundproof, so it was getting quite noisy at times.
Simple accomodation in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was decent and the communication with the owner was good. There was a fridge available for the guests which was handy for us. There are several restaurants within walking distance with good food and reasonable prices as well as a nice viewpoint nearby overlooking the coast. We chose it cause it's located very close to where the path of the gods starts and we didn't need to take the car.

IrelandIf you are basing yourself here with the goal of exploring the cost more. Getting up and down is a bit of a trek and if you rent a moped or car to take it very handy. So in short the only thing was getting up and down to the coast, but to be honest I found that between all the costal towns (amalfi, positano, minora, etc) that they are alll very similar so I was happy to stay and relax in agerola and live out my mountain life haha
This place is a true secret gem. We got it at a very good price for 5 nights. The room was spacious and super clean. The air conditioning in the room was very powerful too. It's location is up in the mountains of agerola only (40 min by bus)which can be a trek as public transport in amalfi is a joke. But the area of agerola is very relaxing and has good shops and restaurants near by the BnB. Shout out to gioninos restaurant which had the best pasta we had in our 2 week trip. To top it all off the staff at haidi house are some of the nicest people I've met. Addalynn the host is a lovely and funny person. I would stay here again in a heart beat

United KingdomWe celebrated the 1y wedding anniversary on the Amalfi Coast and really enjoyed the 2nights stop over at the b&b in the mountains, for some relaxing, peaceful and beautiful hikes. We loved hiking the Path of the Gods and Heidi b&b is the perfect location for it. We drove the car to the free large car park near Crazy Bar and left it there during the hike. Then we spent the evening eating lovely Italian food in the village followed by home made wine at the house in the garden, listening to the crickets. The room was very comfortable (good bed, shower) air conditioning/ cold or warm air. Private parking and the best breakfast included in the stay with fresh fruit, eggs, ham, home made cakes and coffee. I highly recommend it to couples, family or small groups (4, 6 ppl). If you want a break from the sea and Amalfi, come in the mountains for a few days. If you want to drive back down to the coast it is a 30 min max drive. Enjoy the hospitality of the host at Heidi House

United KingdomPublic transport from Agerola to Amalfi is complete nightmare. It would be nice if the property keeps info about the local transport and also any alternative arrangement, eg. phone number of any taxi service etc.
The host and her staff were very friendly. It is a nicely maintained property in the nice of Agerola.

FranceNothing to mention, we had a great stay!
We had a very warm welcome, the owner was very attentive and recommend an exceptional pizzeria that we’ll be dreaming about for years to come... The rooms were spotless and comfortable, we loved hearing nature wake up up the morning with all the birds singing. Breakfast is good. Great access point to sentiero degli dei and well connected by transport if you don’t want to brave the winding cliffs in your car! We would definitely come back!
