How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast is really delicious. We stayed in a large family room equipped with all needed facilities. The bathroom is spacious and the shower cabin is excellent.

The location. The variety choice of breakfast. friendly staff and price: only 1/2 than if live inside of Venice .
The room is clean and neat. The location is very convenient to Venice by bus or tram 20 minutes. Hotel sell the bus tickets conveniently. Staffs are very friendly and willing to help.

The lift was very slow. Communication with the hotel was very difficult prior our arrival, no one responded our messages.
The kindness of the staff, they were very helpful. The room was very nice.

Very good breakfast. Very well connected to Venice. It is a small city very clean and with some good restaurants if one is a bit tired of busy Venice. Nice cafés and shopping area. I definitely recommend the hotel and staying in Mestre to go into Venice.

Great breakfast, everything was really good and fresh, diversity in the served foods, very good coffee. Location in the heart of Mestre with access to restaurants, shops, ice-cream, supermarket all within 2-5 minutes of walking. Personnel very helpful and kind! I would recommend this hotel to others and would definitely book it again the next time I am going to Venice!

The air conditioning was off despite it being warm in April, which meant the rooms were warm (even with the windows open).
Excellent location. Very helpful receptionist and nice breakfast.

No greenery, absolutely none, since we were travelling with the dog :(
Located at the center of Mestre, only 400 m away from bus station (line 4L leads you to Venezia) Very cosy and clean rooms with nice continental breakfast (cornetto, te verde caldo, cafe macchiato)

The destination of the hotel was perfect. The staff was dedicated and correct regarding the information we requested to visit the city of Venice. The food was very good and delicious. The room was an acceptable size with all the conditions. Everything was excellent. I suggest it to everyone.

Comfortable hotel in a nice city close to Venice. We booked the hotel for the great value and were very pleased that the hotel was so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fantastic with new pastries daily. The bus to Venice was about a 10 walk away and we were able to buy tickets at the hotel. The beds were very nice and the room and bathroom were spotless. The parking was about a 7 minute walk from the hotel but we received and email about the location so we were prepared. The garage is great! Safe and had plenty of room for our medium size SUV.

Good value and easily accessible to Venice on public transport. Comfortable with a good breakfast selection. Parking available in parking station about 5min walk away. Very easy.

When we arrived, the sheets had hairs on them. We requested they be changed, and then eveything was alright

Nothing, we loved it!
Absolutely recommend this place! Very nice hotel in the heart of Mestre, just right on the square. Room was excellent size for all of us, there was no view from our room, but the silence was precious. In the morning we woke up hearing the church bell which was incredible nice. Nearby, as adviced by the reception staff we visited a local tratorria that offered excellent food and wine at totally acceptable prices. We took the bus and went to Venice enjoyed 4 hours there and back to Mestre also by bus. The breakfast was very rich and included local products, very nice honey, and many other carefully selected products. All was super nice, smooth and easy, thank you again for this memorable experience.

The final staircase leading to my room (I guess a staff-only route at some point) was poorly lit and poorly maintained and did not match the rest of the hotel, though this did not dampen my overall experience.
The location is excellent; despite being in the very center of Mestre, the room was very quiet, offering a good quality of sleep. The room was adequate, and the bathroom was in very good order. Breakfast was very nice, adequate, and served in a pleasant room.
