A lovely, lovely place to stay. Great facilities - the pool area and cabanas were a great place to spend the day and meant you could get shade and sun depending on how you were feeling. The staff were all super-friendly and helpful. We felt very secluded at Residenza il Sole, which was nice, but then great being only a 10 minute taxi from beautiful Monopoli old town as well - the best of both worlds!

It was a taxi ride €17 each way to the centre. A little fat out but if you want peace and quiet that's guaranteed and what you pay for

Rooms could do with a little modernisation. Everything was very clean and there was nothing broken. Taxi required to travel to and from Monopoli town. If going in the summer too hot to walk to town.

Property is beautiful. Swimming pool is excellent and staff are absolutely spectacular. The breakfast was amazing too! Staff so kind and considerate helped when one of us was unwell and collected us from the train. They were just exceptionally good and made our stay!

We didn’t mind the walk into town but it was around 15 ish minutes as there wasn’t a bus close by but wasn’t a major for us as we enjoyed an evening stroll.

This hotel was totally gorgeous. So relaxing with a stunning pool area and gardens. The breakfast was delicious with a few choices and the staff couldn’t do enough for us with plenty of recommendations.

The location is right near a big power station, and you can hear noise from the factory throughout the day.

Good overall, great pool, short driving to monopoly center and also to visit alberobello, locorotondo.

Was a bit far to walk into town along a busy road that did not have a side walk so had to be very carefully with cars driving so close to you.

Everything was amazing.
