Lovely old school Sicilian hotel. Just stayed two nights before heading to airport. Well maintained with a lovely internal courtyard off dining room/restaurant and reception. Easy 15 minute walk to main tourist areas. All clean, very pleasant and good value which is why I've given a 9. Good sized room with large bathroom with quality fittings etc, very clean. Didn't expect an amazing breakfast as Italians don't do breakfast, but totally adequate and good coffee and pastries etc.

The hotel was very close to the city center but on the other hand it was easy to access by car to their garage. The accommodation was at the expected level, internet in the rooms was excellent and the breakfast was vary good. What makes this hotel different is the extremely friendly staff, who made us feel extremely comfortable the whole time staying there, almost like at home.

I wish the hotel still had kettles with tea and coffee in the rooms. They withdrew this facility in the face of Covid, but I got a cold on the plane and would dearly have liked to have the ability to make myself a hot honey and lemon. I suppose I could have asked room service, but still...

The hotel is centrally located and yet is nice and quiet. It has a lovely old world feel with an appealing outdoor courtyard and a good restaurant which is well rated on google maps. The staff were always helpful and the rooms were large and scrupulously clean. It was very comfortable staying there.

The only small negative was not being served fresh coffee at breakfast and having to use a coffee pod machine instead.

A quietly elegant hotel located 10 minutes away from the centre of Catania. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable with silent aircon which makes a huge difference. We had a large balcony which added to the feeling of spaciousness. Breakfast in the courtyard area was delightful - so much choice and very tasty. All in all, we would return to this hotel if ever travelling to Catania again.

It does stand in an area that is a bit desolate looking, especially after dark. My room faced an apartment with a dog, who barked on and off throughout the night 😔.

Clean, good breakfast, staff professional and friendly. Location is good in that it’s close to main shopping area and tourist attractions. Relaxing courtyard area. I didn’t check out the pool .

I would expect to drink a real coffe at breakfast and not a Nespresso.

Very large room and confortable bed. Very efficient and silent air conditioning considering the high temperatures outside. Good breakfast. Good location closed to old city, central bus station and central train station. Very good value overall.

Although the room and toilet were very nice, the bath felt like it needs to be replaced together with the plastic divider. Also the mini fridge needs to be replaced as it is old and doesn’t cool fast enough. Another small downside was the lack of furniture on the balcony.

Even though, Katania was not my favourite place in Sicily, the hotel exceeded my expectations, the room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The hallways, patio etc were very nice. A big pro of this hotel is its breakfast, even though it was quite simple and lacked more hot dishes, it was very tasty with many good pastries and a big variety of fruit, a very nice addition was presence of many kinds of plant milk. There were just two kinds of coffee pods normal and decaf which were very tasty but having more kinds would be great.
