The house is quite big. The view with the house was perfect. I strongly advise to go there as two couples.

The TV wouldn't pick up any channels and was password-protected so we couldn't try to reset it. An HDMI cable or a way to plug in a computer or other device would have been nice. The jacuzzi didn't have hot water, but we might have been using it incorrectly. Neither of these were major issues to us.

The apartment is a fantastically-restored stone building that is very tastefully decorated. Our bedroom boasted a bathroom with jacuzzi, and we had full access to the kitchen, dining area, and two sitting areas. We visited in winter and the apartment was toasty warm on arrival and throughout our visit. The view is from the top of the fortified city out to a forested valley and the large windows make the apartment bright and cheery despite being an older medieval-type building.

It was hard to lug baggage all the way to the apartment, and the lack of A/C and the noisy foot traffic outside the master bedroom at night made it hard to sleep. But the whole place was so beautiful that this was all easy to overlook!

Absolutely AMAZING views over the countryside! Beautiful living space. Wonderful area. Best salumeria I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit right up the street. Kind, pleasant locals. Really nice to be just at the end of the city in a quiet area.

It would have been perfect but there were simple things that were disappointing. A 9:30am check out time was very early. And there was no kettle or other facilities in the kitchen. I wish I had read previous reviews as we had brought tea bags and milk to make tea in the morning. Couldn’t even boil water in a pan.

It was stunning. In an incredible location right on the edge of the cliffs. It was huge. Very quiet. The decor was perfect. Absolutely breath taking house. Well beyond our expectations.

No bottle opener in a region famous for wine! I had to put out an SOS to a neighbour. Parking is a bit of an issue.

Loved the style of the home. Very different to anything else we have stayed in. It was a cross between a castle and a cave. The ambient temperature created by the rock was very comfortable . Good wifi. An authentic beautiful village to stay in with very little tourist traffic. I hope it never changed.

The casa degli archi is very well located, spacious and has a stunning view on the surrounding hills. The house is carved into the stone and was furnished with love. Absolutely unique! We fell in love with this place! We also took advantage of the breakfast offer and did not regret it. It was served in Sorano (a nearby town) at the hotel della Fortezza and got to know the owner of both the casa degli archi and of the hotel. He showed us around and gave us some good tips on places to see and where to eat. If you are going to visit Pitigliano, you should definitely stay here!

Would have been nice if the kitchen was more equipped - we wanted to make our own breakfast but no pans, no wine bottle opener also no teabags and only 4cofee capsules for 4people for 2days. Some milk for coffee would have been nice too

A top location probably not only in Italy but on an international level. An apartment carved deep into the mountain of Pitiglaiano village, right at the edge of the cliff. Specious. Incredible view from many windows and a terrace where you can eat or have coffee or wine inside nature. The staff was very helpful and a small problem we had was fixed in no time. The same with every question.

The kitchen was not well equipped, there was only one saucepan to cook with which made making dinner difficult! The property and furnishings feel a little worn and musty inside, the place might benefit from a spruce up!

We were the only guests staying in this property during our visit which meant La Casa Delhi Architect felt like a palace! The property is huge, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, lounge and master en suite bedroom! We felt like kings! The views from the property are absolutely stunning and the best in Pitigliano! The staff were helpful in helping us check on to the property and provided us with useful information.

This apartment was absolutely amazing! So much attention to details, the style is very gorgeous. It was also very spacious and has everything that you need. Very clean and the hosts are super friendly! Couldn’t wish for more! The wifi was so so and parking is around 15 min walk to the hotel but not a big problem. Everything else is perfect! Highly recommended!

Fantastic place. We had the entire apartment to ourselves, and it was enormous and quite luxurious. Excellent location. We were able to park our car just on the edge of the ZTL, and it was an easy walk with the suitcases. Initially, we had trouble finding the place, there is an old address published, however, the people sent instructions by phone message, and we found the place ok. We didn't have much contact with the staff, it was done remotely. Great apartment, spacious, clean and with every facility

This accommodation was exceptional! The decor, the position went beyond our expectations! Parking is a problem but to be expected as you can't take a car into Pitigliano. It was also a tad problematic finding the accommodation as we weren't met by staff - soon sorted though.

I mean... it is between a palace and a cave on the rocks, exceptional details and qualities and the views from windows and balcony are amazing or difficult to believe. You want something special... definitely a winner!

Getting there was complicated and parking next to it is impossible. Even when they said I could unload within the city walls, I wouldn't recommend that to anyone. The streets are so narrow that I'm surprised that I didn't get stuck! It's not easy to find parking but just pack light and walk to end of the village to get to the house. They also say that children of all ages are welcome but I was terrified that my baby would damage any of the beautiful pieces of art or the glass table in the salon.

I absolutely loved the house itself and the views. Pitigliano is magical and the house was exceeding my expectations. We walked in and I just had to call to the reception to see if I hadn't made a mistake. The place is massive and just stunning. I would have liked a little handwritten note upon arrival with a few flyers of things to do but Pitigliano is small so we discovered it by ourselves.
