These are small points, but worth noting. - The pool was closed when we were there (April - read the small print!) - There were no communal areas, so no hotel 'vibe' as such. The breakfast area was open 8-9.30 only and then that room was locked. A communal lounge would have been great where you could have a coffee/drink rater than having to return to the bedroom all the time - Breakfast was basic and a little dry - Re hot tub - we booked the room with the hot tub for our last night, but it wasn't ready when we checked in, and only reached their preferred temperature by 9pm. When we finally got in, it was still a little cold for us, especially in April when the weather is still cold, but this lower temperature would be perfect for the heat July / August. I did speak to the staff about it and they tried very hard to increase the temperature (as I say they were very nice and helpful), but they just missed the mark for us on this point, which was a shame as that is the only reason we upgraded to that room for the last night, wasted money I feel.

(We visited in April - not peak season.) Beautiful building and overall hotel, well kept and clean, as the pictures will show. There was a sense of calm and we were able to relax. We had two different rooms; a suite with balcony for the first 3 nights and a Trullo Superior with hot tub for the last night. Both rooms were spacious and bright. We had a 3rd bed in each room which didn't make the room feel cramped. We only stayed in our rooms as there were no communal areas, so that space was important. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but its worth noting they are not there all day. Reception is open from 8 - 10.30 and then from 2 - 7pm, so make sure you have enough towels etc that you may need. The hotel was very quiet, it felt like we had the whole pace to ourselves most days. There was a little building work going on during our stay, but it was not intrusive. On site parking was very convenient with the centre of town only 10-15 mins walk away.

Beautifull resort near all sightseen and yet like on the country side with excellent host and staff. We even have a chance to enjoy in rearlly seen eagles and take pic with them. Ecxellent home made breakfast and room with private spa like from dream holiday. All the best ,bravo to owner for design and idea of whole resort!

Nothing! The property was wonderful and very relaxing, only problem was if you don’t have a car, walking along the road to get to town and no transportation to walk back safely in the dark.

Gorgeous! Friendly and welcoming. Beautiful trulli room with spa felt like simple luxury. Pool area was perfect for the hot day, lounges umbrellas and vending machine. Peaceful. Room was lovely and very clean. 10 min walk to town.

Like a beautiful dream. Very welcoming. Quiet place, even though close to the road. Going with the owner to watch his eagles fly was the highlight of all.

Beautiful resort. Really friendly staff and very accommodating. The pool area is fantastic with everything you need and all the animals make it that extra bit more special. Our room was stunning and have everything we needed. The location is perfect too.

To get to the old town, you have to walk along a main road about 150m. Not a negative, but something to keep in mind. The bed in the room could be improved as the mattress moved around during the sleep.

Overall nice resort, with good swimming pool and nice facilities. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Our room was the top floor on the road side and had its own private terrace as well as balcony with a lovely view. If you are not obsessed with staying in a Trulli house then this accommodation was ideal

For longer staying there were no dishwasher and washing machine in our room, but we are sure that this can be managed with the host as well if you would like to stay longer.

Extremely friendly response from the host, who helped us with everything what we needed. The location is exceptional if you have a car. Only, you have to be careful to choose the correct entrance from the road. The room had everything what we needed for our short stay. We also got everything for breakfast, including local food. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The place offer various things, even small zoo. I would always recommend people to try this place.
