You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was all right. Good shower, bed and air-conditioning –useful during my stay in the winter. The bathroom is relatively small, but it’s just okay. The small fridge was also practical/welcome. The Location is good –not in but nearby the centre. To walk around in Scilla is nice anyway!

United Kingdomyou can see the b & b was once a cosy set up. it’s cheap and cheerful and you’re left to yourselves. I think it’s misleading there is no breakfast and the wine bar set up isn’t there in the evening. hopefully they bring these aspects back.
it’s connected to a hotel opposite the beach so very convenient when arriving by train. The staff were accommodating and not overbearing. unexpected sea view which was beautiful. lovely weekend in Scilla.

United KingdomThe bed was awful - massive sink hole in the middle of it. No internet - despite the lad trying to sort it. No kettle - free coffee in the dark reception area if you like black coffee. Tiny room. Narrow stairs up to the room.
The location was good. Bedding seemed clean, and towels.

United StatesThere is no breakfast service-not even a cup of coffee. Aldo was not good at communicating. We ended up waiting for for 45 minutes to pick us up even though he knew when we were arriving. It is a very hard walk down to the hotel with the luggage so you have to rely on him to help you. He agreed to take us back to our car with our luggage at check out but then we were charged without him telling us upon check in which we thought was a bit dishonest.

United KingdomBe warned. There is no WiFi in the property. The listing is a lie. I raised this in the first night to the owner and he just shrugged and said ‘Oh well’. The position of the property also makes using mobile data hard, as it is an enclosed building. They tried to move me to a different room, but the WiFi in their best room with a sea view was also horrible. Check-in is also terrible. You arrive at check-in time to an abandoned front desk. You ring the bell, no one comes. It was only because another guest told me, that I rung the telephone numbers outside the door. The first got me the owner who said ‘OK’ and then hung up. Another 15 minutes go by, no one comes. I ring all three numbers again and finally someone turns up. As a traveller, there’s no question you’ve travel far. They are also on a huge hill, it’s 100 degrees and you’re carrying luggage. Letting you into the room you’ve paid for is the least they can do. They left me there waiting for 45 minutes in total in their ghost hotel. The owner is clearly an egoist. There are photos of him all over the property. He just wants to take your money and not let you enjoy your holiday. He then takes advantage of his brilliant assistant and gets him to clean up all his messes.
They provide many towels of various sizes and the shelving in the bathroom was great for housing my toiletries.

United KingdomSet in enchanting Chianalea, this tasteful room had a stunning view out to sea (see photo). I had lunch at Le Sirene Hotel, where the owner, chef and receptionist were all very friendly and professional. The food was excellent (see photo).
