The breakfasts are just great, the location is also not bad, but a little far from the main beach (2 km) but there are electric scooters that we used to get there, the accommodation itself is simply 10/10, we were also checked in earlier than it was indicated, thank you very much for that

The food wasn't that great, (my opinion) and the bed's mattress was worn out so it hurt a bit sleeping. Otherwise the place was clean, staff were superb and overall it was a good experience.

Location was great, lovely spots for snorkelling, great pool for the kids and ample sun beds to use.

The apartment could do with some upgrading. It was quite a long walk to a restaurant or bar especially in the heat but a small supermarket is opposite. Shame there was no resident access to the sea or poolafter the club closes at 7pm.

We enjoyed the access to the sea and use of kayaks to explore. We liked the privacy of our small house with a lovely roof terrace and large patio to enjoy family time together. It was very secure and well organised. We liked the staff and range of food in the bar, reasonably priced, great ice cream. Thank you for letting us stay and use the facilities on our last day as we had a late flight.

We found the piped music everywhere you went really irritating but I guess that’s just us! Our bungalow was clean but is in need of some care and attention, the plug next to the bed was very loose and the kitchenette and bathroom were a bit shabby. But it didn’t stop us enjoying our stay. We were looking for a balance between relaxation and city culture and this ticked that box. Avoid the restaurant Graffitti across the road – that was very poor.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. La Marsa is a great base if you’d prefer not stay in the hustle and bustle of Palermo city (taxis varied from €30-45). There is a straightforward 30 minute walk to Mondello where there are some restaurants. The resort itself gives great access into the sea, nice swimming and stunning views. It is buzzing with locals using the resort during the daytime and has lots of sun beds. Nice breakfasts. Good little food shop across the road. Perfect length of stay for probably max 3 nights.

We experienced a few problems during our stay, and I must say the problem solving skill among the staff is deplorable. The management cannot take responsibility, but start shaming and blaming others. As long as everything is ok and goes without problem, it is a good place to stay, but you will not want to end up in discussions with the staff.

The resort is very good, apartments newly renovated to a good standard. The breakfast is very good, with a lot to choose between, warm and cold stuff, very good coffee! There are a lot of sunbeds, and you get a tag to put on your sunbed so that you can keep it all day, very good. Big pool (requires bathing cap though..) There is a café that serves lunch, coffee and ice cream, but no restaurant in the evening.

The outside of the hotel is very run down and looks awful. The ground is uneven and it is very dirty. The continuing announcements over the intercom are very annoying. The use of the side gate at night isn't great as reception is unmanned, and the ground up to the side gate is dirty.

The resort was very clean and the staff were helpful. Air conditioning was excellent in the Bungalow.

The shared building/club were pristine but in our room the kitchen and bathroom really weren't as clean as they could have been, we assume had been renovated/freshened up and the finish a little rustic. It's also really busy in the day(day visitors to the club) and as staying guest you have to compete for sunbeds/queue in a very busy cafeteria/pay for your towels - all just like you were a day guest - there's actually not that many rooms and we thought that elevating the staying guest experience was something that could easily be improved. It meant to service/experience was not what would expect as a paying guest in a hotel or guest house. Also all the facilities shut down once the day visitors have gone and there is no bar or food options in the evenings. There were a few things like that at odds with it's 4star rating.

La Marsa Vacances is a pool/sea swimming club with rooms, the staff are friendly, the pool fabulous for the children, and sea swimming just lovely. Our children just loved it. Staff were very friendly, good self service breakfast and the lunch offering was brilliant - we had a family room which was a great size and layout, we came on our way back from elsewhere in Sicily for 2 nights before we flew home and was a good choice for that. Also close enough to Palermo to drive/taxi in the evening and explore the city.

After moving from a bungalow to a room, there was no problem. Bungalows, seriously though, are fairly ancient. The rooms could have a kettle perhaps.

Own access to the sea and a nice setting. Staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful (cheers to Pasquale and Antonio). Slightly off from city features but that's not an issue with an own car. Bungalows have not yet been renovated and don't belong to the 21st century. The rooms however are new and nice.

Kitchen and shower outdated and need an upgrade.

The outdoor area is amazing. Nice trees and plants. Our bungalow had a nice roof top terrace and outdoor terrace as well. Resort had plenty of sunbeds, access to a nice sea, cristal clear water (rock type so only suitable for good swimmers, probably not for kids and beginners as the sea is deep). Sea and pool facilities are great 👍. There is a good bar for lunch, coffee, gelato (closes 6:30pm) but very handy. Grocery store across the street it's a convenience and also a quick local bar for drinks, snacks, gelato.

The breakfast selection could have been more ample. the timings to access both the sea and the swimming pool were fairly limited and the on site kitchen closed at 7pm, so not great for dinner

I really enjoyed having direct access to the sea, as well as the space of the room. There's a bus right in ront that takes you to Mondello beach or Palermo, which is also good
