We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesEverything! This hotel was booked on a whim as we had decided to stay an extra night on the island. The staff are very friendly, the property is gorgeous, clean utilities, very large rooms with beautiful balcony, and pool was the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

The shuttle service from port was great and reasonably priced, even for an early morning departure. The staff was really friendly and helpful, even booked us a reservation at L’ Observatory restaurant. Pool facility was nice, bar service at pool for an extra fee was nice, Apertivi poolside in the afternoon. We stayed only one night and had such an early departure that we missed what looked to be a nice breakfast buffet, but instead the staff prepared a cold takeaway breakfast for us the night before. Our room was a sea view room with a very large private patio, worth the small upgrade in price.

United KingdomClub nights for three nights in a row in the club that the hotel own until 3am were a shame, we used ear plugs so didn’t disturb too much but maybe avoid the sea view rooms when the club is open until the early hours!
Great location, beautiful hotel! Lovely view from the sea view room we had at the front of the hotel. Punctual pick-up & drop from the port.

Italian coffee had to be ordered, the coffee presented in pots was not very edible. A lot of plastic-packed (butter, jam, honey). However, a lot of cake and sweet particles offered.

New ZealandThe location next to the sea. My spacious room with big terrace and view of the ocean. Loved the swimming pool and surrounding gardens. The restaurant served beautiful food, staff are super efficient and nice. The front desk staff are wonderful, especially Stefania who speaks English very well. They can pick you up to & drop off at the port in a little golf cart.

Located in front of a lovely beach, a few minutes walking from the town center. Room was spacious, although a bit minimal. Breakfast was OK, lot of options, a lovely chocolate-filled croissant. We didn't use the hotel's restaurant but it looked nice.

I have always stayed at La Sirenetta Hotel when I have visited Stromboli. I love the hotel. The location next to the beach is both beautiful and dramatic. This part of the island is quiet yet there is good access via a path and steps to the main square, shops, bars and restaurants. The beds/ bedrooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are good too. There is a stunning inner court/ atrium brimming with flowering plants and the outdoor swimming pool is a very beautiful place to relax in. The breakfast is very generous and there is a lot of choice. As always, it's the staff who make the difference. They are all friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient but Diego went above and beyond to make sure that my onward travel went smoothly. Thank you, Diego!

We did not have long on the island but when we arrived Diego advised us on how best to spend our time and from this we had the best experience and got to see some amazing volcanic eruptions. The hotel is near to the path to start the stromboli walk. Fantastic breakfast with a lovely selection which we enjoyed eating on the terrace overlooking the sea. When we arrived off the ferry we were met by hotel transport which transferred us to the hotel and back to the port on our departure. The hotel is immaculate with a lovely gardened/flower area in the courtyard area. Really enjoyed our time!

United Kingdomwhen spending a mid afternoon by the pool, it was very hot and we wanted some cool drinks and a snack. What looked to be a pool bar was closed/not season ready. So I visited the bar and asked for drinks and a snack by the pool, I was told that if I wanted the drinks and snack delivered to the pool that it would be a €5 room service charged to my room ……. what???? I questioned this and they don’t do pool service for free. So I said I would wait the 10 mins for the snacks and drinks and carry them up myself. so then the afternoon snacks!!!! I was told I could have a cheese and ham toastie, I then said could I get cheese and onion or cheese and tomato, only to be told the chef wasn’t available. Now given that the guy. behind the bar had to make the cheese and ham toastie while I waited, I said what ? you can’t cut a couple of onion slices or a couple of tomato slices and put them in? His response….. the chef has shut the kitchen, so I can only do ham and cheese. ok so I had to wait and take the drinks and toastie up myself. Next up was our evening trek up the volcano, the staff knew we were going up and we returned back at about 11.20, absolutely gasping for water due to he trek down being long and exceptionally hot for June. Upon our arrival back there were three staff behind reception and they had just closed the bar, we were desperate for a lot of water or a soft drink, but the reception staff just said sorry the bar is closed and we don’t have access to get you water, and to use the water from our fridge in the room. Well this had been drunk earlier in the day, so we had no more water until morning. Not very helpful given many many people, arrive on Stromboli to do the night trek. I would expect the reception staff to have at least access to extra bottles of water that we could have access to, given that we were wishing to purchase it. Not the kind of service that I expected in both these situations from what seems one of the best hotels on the island.
