The location is about 25 min from Assisi and the roads are a bit rough. Arrive in the daylight as trying to get there at night would be difficult

The food was not quite as outstanding as some reviews suggested and we felt the prices for food and wine were quite high. Sadly the weather was not suitable for swimming but the pool loungers were showing end of season wear and tear.

Everyone was welcoming. Kind and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. Our room was a good size and very clean. The food was good and well presented.

I would have liked a wider choice of wines.

The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals absolutely delicious and a little different. Because I didn't research properly and the location is very remote, we took a treacherous road to get there. Our mistake! Having found the better road the next day, travel was far easier. One has a real feeling of being in a rural location with lovely views of hills from the pool and terrace over 'ginestra' and wild flowers. A spectacular nearly full moon, rose over the mountains and the setting of the pool was lovely. The owners and staff charming.

The room did not have air conditioning. We had a fan and that was sufficient with the current temperatures.

The property is in a beautiful setting. The restaurant was excellent offering delicious meals. Staff was devoted to making us feel comfortable. The pool was very clean and the water was cool and refreshing.

Not a negative but good to be aware it was 7 KM up a twisty road in very poor condition - but passable. Sun beds need replacing! All broken

A charming retreat in the hills beyond Assisi, so quiet you feel the birds might come and talk to you. Great food and wine (made on the property). Friendly staff. Lovely swimming pool area.

While it certainly wasn't a problem for us, it's worth mentioning that it does take driving on dirt roads for a few km to get to the property. Nothing too crazy. The way can be a bit tricky, especially after dark, but, if you allow, they'll track your location and help you get there.

Beautiful property on the mountains of Umbria with great views, lots of nature, a nice swimming pool and outstanding food! They also produce their own wine and beer. It was a lovely retreat and we would love to return with more time. A very relaxing place!

Unfortunately our room was directly above the outside eating area and kitchen so we were kept awake until late each night with noise. It was also a very hot period and with no a/c or fan in the room, and not being able to keep the window open at night……it as difficult to sleep.

Alicia’s food was amazing! Local ingredients and organic veg all beautifully cooked for all x3 nights of our stay! And Alicia also prepared beautiful salad lunches for us.

Riccardo and Alessia, as well as the other staff, were so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommend unplugging and relaxing here for a few days. The location was peaceful and high up in the hills - you do need a car to get around. The pool was lovely, if a bit cold! The room we stayed in was large and comfy. The food was yummy. And the wines/beers delicious. Having a freshly made lunch of caprese and melon and parma ham accompanied by a cold glass of wine in the garden every day was just fab!

A gem in the Italian countryside, beautifully run, clean with spectacular gardens and pristine pool . The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the chefs cooked from farm to table. Would go back in a heart beat, thank you La Tavola Dei Cavalieri for making our honeymoon so special.

Access can be challenging (roads are uneven, but not the hotel’s fault) depending on the route you take to get to the hotel.

Up in the mountains away from everything. Perfect stop after the chaos of Rome. Peaceful and relaxing.Amazing food best breakfast on our trip so far.
