The place worth a special journey! From the very first start, it was clear that it will be our highlight of Amalfi coast tour. Rooms - minimalist, just as we love. Heated swimmingpool is warm even in October. Staff is very attentive, unobtrusive and always there when you need them. We have visited few Michelin restaurants in Amalfi region, but the restaurant Cannavacciuolo is another level. Next level not only because of exceptional food, but also because of professional, and friendly staff - which is rare in restaurant of that category. Tempo of dinner was also ideal so our experience of tasting menu was extraordinary. We will definetely come back, next time for longer vacation. Grazie & Bravo!

I cannot think of anything we did not like. You will need a car as it is located in a remote village which if you are from the UK, the roads are not for the feint hearted but the narrow, winding roads are soon forgotten when you arrive here.

This wonderful hotel exceeded all of our expectations. I travel a lot and this hidden gem absolutely surpassed my expectations. This was down to the fantastic team who from the moment of booking to checking out were amazing. There was fantastic communication before our arrival, the staff came to meet us in the car park and show us in. Everything was just perfect and the hotel has been really well designed and thought out in terms of décor and style and the story to tell. The food was outstanding, Nicola Somma and his team are brilliant beyond words and a real credit to the Cannavacciuolo family. We were honoured to dine in the restaurant and the food was like pieces of art. The breakfasts whether in the restaurant or brought to your rooms was a cullinary feast. The hotel staff were impeccable, Eduardo and his team were really one of the best in terms of level of quality and care and were especially fantastic to my son and mother. This is really a little oasis of peace, calm and tranquillity - a real gem. It is an unforgettable experience not just a hotel stay. Thank you.

I am not fan of Tasting menus, so I can’t say much. I just want to eat authentic Italian simple but tasty food and the hotel didn’t have it. But I am sure their food is good for those who like that stuff

The staff is helpful and polite. I also liked the location. We came with a bus to Ticciano. A small village not very touristic for a 100 % Italian immersion.

The hotel is far from the coast and the access roads are not easy.

Laqua countryside really has amazing views and facilities. The outside area for breakfast is definitely one of my favourites. The food was amazing (my personal favourite was their Caprese). One thing to be careful about is that their dinner course serves not large portion but many different dishes, such as pre-dessert and post-dessert, so really save up your stomach if you wish to dine at Laqua countryside, and not order too much as there are many extra side dishes included. Everything looks as described in the pictures. The staffs are very nice and helpful with everything, including booking taxis or room services. My friend and I all had a really nice stay at this beautiful place.

Everything was fabulous! They thought about everything until the last detail. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was delicious, we also got a lot of extras from the chef. In the morning we ate the best breakfast we have ever eaten with products straight from the chef's garden. We will definitely recommend about this amazing place when ever we can...

Commuting to and from the property can be a hassle and expensive if one isn’t driving

The dinner menu is a pricy gurme style, so it is not suitable for everyone pocket nor taste. We have to say we felt that the vibe in the dinner room felt overly stick to manners , and that the waiters could be more interactive and laid back. But maybe it's just the fancy style that we, as a specific couple, feel less comfortable with.

Some points were mentioned at the reception and are in the midst fto fix them.the main problem with a specific room we received is the fact you can hear the restaurant and staff below! Omce they were kind enough and able to accommodate us in another, fmore far room, it was all fixed.

The Laqua is little heaven. The staff is doing above and beyond to make sure you afeel home. The restaurant and room are exquisite and offer a special stay and experience. It's not located near a main attraction or town, however can be a good point to visit Sorento or other nearby towns. Overall, we felt the place magic there, the peaceful and quite Villa, pool and garden.
