We plan to use the laundry in this place but its not easy for guest... its pretty old and we don't know how to start it, in the end Salvatore came and start it for us in few minutes, its alright I just wish its easier. But if you don't need to wash anything then it will be a good place to stay in this price.

The view from the terrace is pretty good, Salvatore waiting us in front of the apartment when we arrive and help us find the parking space, its not official parking space so I am bit worry but in the end everything are fine, local people know the best!

Very helpful host. Good and varied breakfast with only fresh ingredients. Quiet area located next to the steps down to Ibla. Beautiful view from the street and the room we were given on day two. A well-situated café/restaurant with a view next to the building.

Everything was good.

We liked that it was close to good restaurants and that we had a nice walk to the old area up at the hill. Salvatore was really nice, he came with us to park the car and gave us ideas where to eat. He also brought us a good breakfast with different fruits 🍓. Ragusa is very beautiful.

There is nothing that fell out of my expectations or that went wrong. All was perfect.

The location is opposite the Church of Santa Maria delle Scale, so very close to Ibla and Ragusa Cathedral, so very handy and strategic location. I loved the stay overall and the option of pre-ordering your breakfast and having it in your room. The host, Salvatore, a very friendly, approachable, and punctual person, he contacted me to arrange to meet me upon arrival at the location and he was spot on time. If you ever visit Ragusa, this place ia definitely the one to be for a lovely stay

Great apartment with an amazing view. Certainly worth a bit extra for the flat with terrace, we enjoyed our breakfast with this breathtaking view. The host was exceptionally friendly. Helped with parking and gave us great tips on restaurants around. Highly recommended!

Difficult to find reliable info on local bus times, but who cares when view from bus stop is so spectacular?!

Wonderful! Amazing location with stunning views from our room with sweet little rooftop terrace overlooking Ragusa Ibla! Breakfast was included, which I didn't hold out much hope for as we are vegan, lovely Salvetore said no problem, and we were provided with tray of assorted vegan savouries and wholemeal pastries, piping hot plantmilk cappuccini and fruit! This was a real treat. We were texted lots of local info about places to visit and details of a street artist festival taking place. What a lucky find!

Smelled a little mold

The view from the balcony was great during morning and night both. You can see sunrise just on your balcony. The breakfast was great also. They clean the room every day and change towels. There were kitchen and washing machine in my room that I could use. So convenient. Host Salvatore was nice too.

Shower was small but otherwise everything was great!

Salvatore!! He was the perfect host! We had breakfast delivered each morning….coffee, fruit and delicious sweets. He answered questions before and during our stay. He gave us recommendations for dinner. Bed was comfortable and towels were large and changed daily. Great view! Wonderful location!!

The location - the terrace overlooking the steps to the old town - is great. Breakfast on the terrace while watching the sun rise over Ragusa Ibla is a memorable event. We knew exactly what to expect because of the property online description. Salvatore is an amazing host. From the moment we booked until the time we left, he made sure we had every piece of information we might have needed. He even came with me to find a place to park.

The location was excellent and within a few minutes walk of Ragusa Ibla. The view from the balcony was exceptional and we could have sat there for hours looking at it. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

Salvatore the host was so helpful, accommodating and responsive, providing us recommendations and help with parking. The location was perfect in between the two old towns with an amazing view over Ibla and close to a bus stop. The rooms were spacious, with balconies and secure. We were provided a very large yummy breakfast delivered fresh each day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Scale Sul Barocco.

Just a little noise from the mini-fridge

The position was great, with a nice view of Ragusa Ibla. Salvatore was super kind as he drove us back to the bus station, and he also suggested us some places to eat.

The room was cosy. Every morning the host brought us a lovely breakfast. Also the room was in between the two parts of the town: downtown and uphill, it was lovely to see both parts. And what was also lovely was the view, the stairs were you could see the hills and old City.

Nice apartment / room in a convenient location (walking distance 15 minutes from Ibla - old town). We liked breakfast, which was brought to us directly to the room - several types of croissants, fresh fruit, juice & coffee. Each day different selection of the pastry. Good host, helped us with the parking which can be bit problematic in Ragusa. Also very quick in responding. Overall we were very happy with the accommodation, it's great value for the money.

There are no facilities but this is to be expected from this kind of room as it's not a hotel. The breakfast wasn't anything special and the water from the shower and sink was almost always cool. This didn't matter much though as everything else was perfect.

The location of this place is perfect, right between the old and new town. They bring breakfast to your room everyday, the beds are very comfortable, and the room has everything you need. Also, the host is super responsive via WhatsApp and provides you what you need. All in all, I really liked my stay!
