Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

CyprusOnly downside is that a busy main road runs in front of the property and cars can be heard speeding by, mostly during the day and morning. Mosquito repellent is also recommended to allow one to sit outside and absorb the lovely maintained garden, generally this is a problem we encountered in other parts of Bari as well.
Comfortable accommodation. Rooms were extremely clean, beds / pillows very comfortable, fresh, clean bath towels. Espresso machine in the room offered a nice touch. Did feel like a home away from home! Lovely, friendly owners which are available to assist their guests. Thank-you to Mr. Nino and his wife. Lovely garden well maintained. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Bari. Property is situated in a residential area, far from the city centre therefore a car is a must. Breakfast served at a nearby cafe within walking distance, coffee and pastries offered were fresh and of good quality.

ItalyBreakfast could have been richer… you receive one ticket per person to be used in a cafeteria nearby, where they serve one croissant and one coffee per person, and even charged one ticket for just a fruit juice for our child… the croissants are not baked there and the staff can’t be defined friendly. There’s definitely room for improvement, due that all the rest about the stay is excellent.
The place is nicely decorated, spotless and comfortable, with a spacious living and dining area, plus a kitchen that can solve any needs for the travellers. The owner is a nice, welcoming, friendly person, who welcomed our little daughter with a complimentary snack, even if I had mistakenly not included her in our reservation, and didn’t even charge for it. The room was big, the bed very comfortable, with a small fridge and a coffee maker with excellent coffee.

HungaryIts a beautiful place a relatively quiet street. Garden is amazing. The rooms are on the top level of the house with lot of decoration and a big social hall. Very clean rooms, fast wifi. Great breakfast at a near coffee corner using vouchers. Must go back this place. Very recommended.

PolandWe are really disappointed by: - the equipment of the kitchen. In genernal there is no stuff to make your own food, lack of forks, lack of spoons, lack of knives. There is only 1 pan, 1 pot, 2 small plates, 1 bowl, 1 cup and 2 wine glasses - that's all for 4 rooms (max. 8 people in the house). You have to boil water for a tea or coffee in a pot... In the room you have small cofee machine but for us 4 capsules of coffe for 2 days was not enough. - breakfast... I'd rather say it's a snack but not breakfast. You get a voucher to cafeteria that is located 10 min by walking from the house. The voucher gives you for free 1 coffee and 1 croissant... nothing more. In my opinion it is very minimum version of italian breakfast but we weren't satisfied by such version.
+ spacious, comfortable, clean room and also the other part of the house + nice decoration, style of the house is catching, you can really feel a little bit of home + garden + balcony in the room a little bit too tight but terrace in front of the house is great to eat dinner or chill with drinks + washing machine in the kitchen you can use to wash your clothes + fridge in the kitchen (common area) and also private smaller fridge in the room + no problem with parking a car + the house is located like 20-30 min from Bari but for us it is big positive. You can rest what is impossible in the center of Bari.
