Location, breakfast and cleanliness of room/appartment was excellent but most of all was the host Gemma who was a great source of knowledge of the area and the whole of Sardinia. She gave us great advice and places to see and other places in Sardinia.

Gemma was an absolutely amazing host! She served me and my dad delicious breakfast every morning and was very helpful giving advice on places to visit. An apartment was very clean and nice. Well-equipped kitchen with free snacks and comfortable living room. I recommend this place! <3

We had a fantastic time at the bed and breakfast. Gemma is a wonderful host and provided us with splendid tips for day trips, restaurants and general information. We loved the terrace with seaview and the excellent breakfast. Would definitely like to come back. Thanks a lot Gemma.

Gemma, the host is fantastic, she always asked when we would like breakfast and what do we prefer. If she didn’t have something she bought it for us. She also helped our stay with great tips, where/how to go & what to see. She is very attentive. The location of the accommodation is very convenient, close to the old town as well as the beach. Shops, restaurants & bus stops are also nearby. It is great that you csn use the kitchen in the flat and the terrace whenever you prefer so you feel like in somebody’s home

We were in the room on the last floor where the sealings were low at certain places (so we hit our heads multiple times). Our room was pretty bright, so it was good that we had sleeping masks

We had a really nice stay at Gemma's apartment. It's very clean and has everything you might need. Good breakfast Gemma had this mother vibe and was very carrying. There is a balcony with a nice view Good location, right next to the city beach (which was fine). You can also walk 30 minutes to Maria Pia Beach which is much nicer or take a bus which brings you there in 10 minutes. Old city is like 10 minutes walking from the appartement.

The host Gemma and her husband were very kind and helpful. Gemma helped us in everything during our stay (recommended restaurants, excursion destinations, etc.) The apartmann spacious and extremely clean. It was lovely to have breakfast on the terrace. We can only recommend it.

We had the pleasure of being guests at Gemma on B&B Lloc D'Or. The apartment is located close to both the beach and the old town. The rooms were nice and clean and Gemma speaks fine English and was very welcoming and gave good recommendations for activities in the area. The breakfast was sublime and Gemma thoughtfully asked for specific wishes for the meal. Would definitely recommend.

Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice wrap around balcony. The breakfast was delicious with lots of attention and advice from the whole family. Thank you, Gemma Giovanni and Lorenzo! A short walk to the waterfront promenade and plenty of free parking nearby. It was nice to stay in a family apartment building and feel part of the city.

There's nothing we could mention here. Our stay couldn't been better. We liked everything about the accomodation. Gemma (and her family) is an outstanding host.

Gemma's hospitality was outstanding, she helped us in everything during our stay (restaurants to try, beaches to visit, transport to use...etc). We really enjoyed our stay in B&B Lloc D'or it's close to the beach and to the old town as well. The apartment exceeded our expectations with it's size and the beautiful view from our huge terrace. This was the cleanest accomodation we've ever been to, they even change towels and bed sheets every 4 days. The breakfast was delicious and varied every day, our favotite was the local ham & salame and the pastries from the bakery.

It was perfect for our stay

We had an amazing terrace overlooking the sea and we got our breakfast in the room to enjoy it privately. The apartment was close to the city centre and close to them there’s the best restaurant in town. Ask them for help, the owners are very kind.

Low ceilings and beams resulted in banging head quite often. Maybe supply a cafetiere for each person at breakfast, rather than just a small coffee. (The owners are super nice and I'm sure they would have given more coffee if we asked) More light in shower area needed.

Beautiful apartment with large terrace looking over the sea to enjoy the lovely breakfast, and watch the sunset. Great location and an easy walk to the centre and beach. The owners are amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They provided use beach towels, umbrellas etc too. Large free parking at end of road if you can't find street parking outside.

Gemma is more than just an excellent host - she made us feel like we were her family. So caring and considerate, she also gave us wonderful suggestions on things to do around Alghero and places to see. The place was clean, comfortable, and the location is ideal (close to a handful of beaches and just a short walk into the gorgeous Old Town). There is also a free parking area nearby which we used every day. Delicious breakfast per our preferences!

This was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in! The location is perfect, next to the beach and the old city. The breakfast was made with a lot of love and changed every day. And the owner Gemma was so helpful and friendly! She gave us a lot of recommendations and did everything to make our stay perfect - thank you for everything. We will come again for sure!

I had a wonderful stay in Alghero, Sardinia! Gemma and Giovani, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore the beautiful beaches and attractions. The accommodations were cozy and tastefully decorated, providing a peaceful retreat. Gemma's breakfast was a delightful treat every morning. I highly recommend this place for an authentic and memorable Alghero experience! Can't wait to return!
