Delightful and charming, inside the city walls. Owners will arrange parking 2 mins walk away. Perfect spot from which to explore the gem which is Lucca.

The hotel was easily our favourite of the whole holiday. We loved the decor and feel, especially eating breakfast on the terrace in the morning. Marco was extremely helpful in all and any aspects we needed. We would 100% return

Marco and Michela were fantastic hosts. Marco checked in with us via whatsapp on the day regarding our arrival time. We had previously contacted them regarding special dietary requirements at breakfast which they accommodated for very well. On arrival, Michela took the time to go through maps and attractions in the area with us. She had lot of useful tips and information. The room was large and comfortable. We couldn't get over how amazing the mattress on the 4 poster bed was. It was so comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of choice. Michela had also made chocolate cake. We usually prefer hotels rather than B and Bs but this was such a wonderful stay. The hosts do not live at the property and there are only 3 rooms so we had our own space and privacy which we value. We will definitely be back.

We got lost in Lucca trying to find it.

Sitting on a quaint/cozy patio we were brought our cappuccino and freshly baked apple cake. Our room was out of a movie. We LOVED our stay.

Superb breakfast served on shady terrace. The rooms are large, furnished with antiques and four poster or canopied beds; plenty of drawer and closet space. Locanda is in the historic center but just off main tourist streets and owners are kindest, most helpful hosts we have ever encountered.

we LOVED our stay here!! There were so many thoughtful details in the room & in the common area. We were sad to leave. The location is great in a very quiet area of Lucca, but not so far that you can’t walk a block or two and find something to do. Also, our air conditioning worked great… Which was a plus! They keep the refrigerators stocked with beverages for purchase, and even Wine to purchase in the common area to enjoy on the terrace. simply a lovely place that we will not forget.

This was a fabulous place to stay. Uniquely decorated. Extremely generous breakfasts. Delightful hosts. Inside the walls of Lucca, so easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. Quiet. Lovely outdoor area covered in wisteria for breakfasts and should it be inclement it will be indoors with candles! Only 3 apartments and our fellow guests were a delight and a source of information of what to see.

Beautiful suite in a beautiful building in a fabulous location, steps away from the famous old city wall promenade and plenty of other sites. Outdoor breakfast/lounging area is spectacular. Breakfast is delicious and generous. Our hostess was attentive and generous. We felt absolutely welcome, comfortable and appreciated. Would love to return!

Difficulty using old fashioned keys to open and lick door to room. Hostess was wonderful in person, but was not very fast to respond to e-mails or texts.

The breakfast, location and room size and cleanliness were excellent. The hostess was helpful and accommodating and spoke English well.
