The board behind the tv in our room made a creaking noise on our second night and wouldn’t stop, so we ended up sleeping in the other room on the couch and pullout. But we had a great night sleep there, so it all ended okay.

The lodge was in a beautiful location. With views of the mountains and a close walk into town. The sauna and pool are free to use and were super relaxing with comfy bean bag type lounge chairs. The yogurt at breakfast was delicious and they even had a Nutella type spread on tap. Yum.

No air conditioning! We keep our home freezing and I get really hot at night it was uncomfortable not having that A/C thankfully it rained in the evening and it cooled down a bit!

Margret and her husband were absolutely amazing! If you are staying in the areas please stay here the spa was lovely after long hiking days! There were kids but if you go later in the evening around dinner time you can have the whole spa to yourself!

Apartment is an open space, i.e. no doors to seperate bedrooms. Pillows were small. Small kitchen and not too many pots/pans options.

Breakfast was great. Location is very good, only 5min away from the cable car in Suise and 20 min from Val Gardena. supermarket next door. Pool and sauna were a nice treat after a long day of skiing.

One polish group - kids shouting everywhere, parents very loud as well, even smoking in the social room / forbidden in the hotel …. No respect after notification … no problem of the hotel Just one small remark - Breakfast good, but the same every day … but there was a lot to choose

Castelrotto itself is located around a 15 minute drive from the ski lifts. We knew this coming in (and it wasn't a problem) but I just want to mention it for people looking to book accommodation for skiing to take it into account.

Clean, spacious accommodation. Excellent facilities (good pool, nice sauna); plenty of parking. Located next to a small supermarket for anybody who needs groceries. Apparently skibus to Seiser Alpe/Alpe di Siusi stops close to accommodation, but we didn't check this as we decided to drive to Ortisei with our own car to take the gondola's.

outdated facility, poor breakfast, pool access was not comfortable as you would need a vest that you have to rent for 10 eur at the reception if you don’t want to hang around the hotel in towel - no changing room on floor either. breakfast was very basic considering the way the hotel positions itself. the hotel costed roughly 20% less than 4s modern ones on the same period, but the perceived return was far below that

Shaky check-in experience: inoperable safe, no thermostat, no luggage holder, no coffee maker, no refrigerator, not even a trashcan apart from the tiny one in bathroom. Manager Margaret was extremely unwelcoming when these basic issues were brought to her attention. If booking.com says, "only one room left", by all means, go somewhere else. I wish I did. When I think of this place I will think of her temper tantrum. It ruined my stay.

Mobile fan was brought in for us, and battery was added to safe. Thanks for that. Breakfast and pool were great.
