In the big restaurant downstairs the staff were pretentious and officious, particularly glaring to this solo woman traveler. I don't know who runs it, but the good food deserves a better atmosphere.

The staff at Hotel Minerva always seemed preoccupied, and not very helpful. One reception desk staffer even told me to come back later when I asked to settle my account - bec a big group was getting on their buses. I guess too much going on for him. To be honest, they all looked overworked and understaffed in general. Who could blame them for a poor attitude?

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Quiet as well! The breakfast was delicious and there was also an amazing restaurant downstairs! The gym was also very good as well!

Air conditioning did not work at all, while the room was terribly hot. Reception staff told me to “open the windows”, which made no difference at all. The hotel in general is worn down and in dire need of remodeling. The bathroom facilities were clean, but very old-fashioned (80s?). The power sockets near the bed were loose, and the bathroom curtains were dirty. The room was street-facing, which was very noisy because of the windows needing to be open for the bloody heat. Breakfast was alright, with varied choice. The breakfast hall however, was a busy and noisy affair, with staff turning over tables all the time, and the barista knocking his coffee handle into the trash every 2 minutes. Hardly a peaceful start to the day…

The reception lady was impolite snd arrogant. When I said that report her behavior to booking, she said , do it for sure! No respect to customer and no hospitality. They don’t have enough staff for cleaning the room and no enough staff for running the hotel as she said! Why booking.com provide services for such a hotel? I booked this hotel based on trust to booking.com and I don’t do it again in future.

The key was ready snd check in time was very fast.

we travelled from England to Arezzo and this is by far the best hotel we stayed in! amazing! it felt very high end. it had air-conditioning and the staff were exceptional! i would 100% recommend to any one who wants to stay in Arezzo.

We arrived from a very long flight and train ride and were pretty exhausted. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was late and the the restaurant was almost ready to close, but they didn't rush us as all. Dinner and breakfast the next morning were wonderful.

The room was great in size and cleanliness. TV with many channels. Breakfast very good.

Very small shower cabin, in which one could hardly turn oneself. Mattresses on the beds a bit too hard. The items from the breakfast buffet could only be taken by the staff; so waiting in line to tell your choice wasn't convenient and staff sometimes didn't understand English.

The hotel is very old - you feel that everything is from late 80’s or early 90’s. The room is simple and not feeling comfortable. Soundproofing from outside is terrible - it was raining and you can here even water drops not to mention cars… If you add uncomfortable pillows - you will get bad sleeping… The hotel is more than 20 min walking from the city center. Due to Covid restrictions- the breakfast is not pleasant too - you will stay in long queue and you will not be able to get food by yourself - you will have to ask waiter for everything. Don’t expect variety or hot food at breakfast. Would not recommend this location.

The staff is amazing! Starting with reception experience to restaurant staff, the services are great and makes you feel more than welcome. The hotel spot is close to town center and A1 highway if you want to setup base in Arezzo and visit Rome,Liguria or the legends of Ferrari in Modena. I was lucky to get a top floor room with balcony to enjoy the summer nights in Tuscany.

The accomodation was fine, we were just not prepared that most of Arezzo is closed in August.

Spacious room. You can see the mixed use between business and tourist in the setup and comfort provided.
