Unfortunately the spa/pool was closed as was the restaurant in the evening for the first 2 nights.

Beautiful view of the mountains from my 3rd floor room. Free shuttle from the station and then again to the hospital to catch my bus back to Naples. Breakfast selection was good.Lovely milk and the cheese/meat selection was impressive.

Very cozy and comfortable high end rooms with spacious en-suite bathroom. Great Wi-Fi, big closed parking space, nice breakfast with friendly staff and very good local produce. Nice Dinner Restaurant. Few steps to the city centre. Absolutely recommended.

Nothing we loved everything. Slightly disappointed with choice of breakfasts we didn’t realise we could have ordered eggs until we heard someone else. our own fault as we didn’t enquire.

Fabulous room with a great view of the mountains. The attached car park is very handy. Staff very friendly. Easy walking distance to the town centre with an excellent choice of bars and restaurants.

Wonderful lobby with traditional feel. Ovid books available in multiple languages! Good breakfast with friendly and accommodating service. Secure parking, easy to move luggage to room.

In a 4 start hotel you need more choices for the breakfast, not only on the sweet side (which for Italians is really perfect), but also more salted and some hot dishes, as well. But if I asked for some eggs, they provided :)

It is a good quality hotel for a starting point if you want to travel arround the mountains of Abruzzo, wery well placed for all the national parks and sky opportunities, spacious and clean rooms, helpful staff and a good restaurant. Parking in closed area with direct access to the hotel. The Spa is small (you need reservation), but a plus, especially in the winter, when the sauna, the turkish bath and the jacuzzi can make your day better :) Although for a 4 star hotel (which is sill reflected in the prices) in the near future some refurbisment has to be done especially in room ammenities and spa.

The only minus was that during my stay the restaurant was not working in the evenings. But it was not a big problem, as in the center of Sulmona there were several good places to eat.

It is a very comfortable hotel, well equipped, spacious rooms, very nice breakfast, 3 minutes walking from the center of Sulmona.

Breakfast room with all the views through the big windows. You can see campo imperatore and gran sasso more than 60 km away. Great! The lady at the reception saw on her camera that the lights of oud car were burning. She called us and just before our accu died we could save our day. Thank you again!

Old style rooms.

The staff was kind. There was a private parking. Basic room but with all needed commodities. Very central, so we could walk everywhere.

Attitude of staff, price for what you get: We arrived late and were assigned ‘the last room’, 106, having a separate entrance directly from the parking lot into the room and facing the same parking lot, the hotel full with a tour group; on request to change the room, which gave a kind of ‘cave feeling’, the staff at check in just meant ‘sorry, we are fully booked with a group’. The light switch in the basic bathroom behind the door, didn’t increase excitement too…. There would have still be another room (higher category) being bookable via booking.com but given the late hour, we decided to avoid further discussions and swallow the bitter pill. Conclusion: for roughly EUR 130 at a discounted Genius rate, the attitude of staff and quality of room do not fit. Better to stay in Pescara, for example at G Hotel and get a full suite with separate living room of about 40sqm for about the same money. The way to Sulmona can be easily made in the morning.
