How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The air condition controller is not in the room, but it was midnight when we noticed it. So we did not use the air condition at night.

Location is very near to the station, just walk straight and in 10 mins, you will be there. Also it is in the center, in 10 mins you will be in the central market. I am lucky the room is facing to the garden, so very quiet and good for sleeping $

The place is nice, they give you a code to get in which is super comfortable (at least to me) when you are outside during the night. The location is great because you can reach basically everything without using any car/bus/tram, you are close to almost everything and you can walk to the places. The staff is super nice and they also let me leave my backpack on the last day after I've done my checkout so I could still visit the city without heavy stuff on the shoulders lol The place is really quiet, the room was nice and clean, the bathroom too.

The hotel is in a very strategic location for tourism and the staff was very kind. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They also offered to keep our luggage at the end of our stay while we were visiting the city until the end of the afternoon, witch made things easier for us.

Radiator heat—we thought we knew how to turn it on but we couldn’t bring up the heat in the morning. The ground floor of this hotel looks drab.
Breakfast was inexpensive and was equal to the others we had eaten while traveling for two weeks in Italy. The room and bath were very plain but good.

We appreciated the easiness and efficiency of check in/check out and the free luggage storage literally saved us so much time. The interior was lovely, exactly as in the pictures. The location perfect and the neighborhood with nice restaurants. Would definitely come back.

The room is big , the location is very perfect. You can easy walk all attractions in Florence.
The hotel rooms need renovation some renovation. At least bed linen. The room was superior so it is really big, but the atmosphere is very communist and the price i paid was too high.

Floor in the room was so cold! They really need rugs for winter period. The shower stall doors cannot be closed due to an error in calculating the distance between them. Some of the water will spill out anyway. The distance between the toilet and the wall is barely big enough for your legs. There is no free drinking water provided in the room.
