I 100% recommend this stay for an Ischia trip. It’s located near the city center, the room was very clean, all facilities included and exceptionally good staff, especially Giuseppe. He was very friendly, helped out a lot with guides and recommendations including places to eat and visit. Moreover, we got a room upgrade which had a beautiful view of the island and sea. We will definitely come back!

The view from the balcony was great - could see the ocean, mount vesuvius, and the Castello Aragonese. Located just a short walk to the port with excellent transportation links. Staff were super accommodating and went above and beyond for us.

The apartment is located at the top of a very steep hill about 100m long. It wasn't a particular issue for us but it isn't to be recommended for people with restricted mobility (note that Francesco is great at helping with luggage up and down the slope on his scooter!).

The apartment is in a great spot very close to Ischia Porto centre (although see below) and the views were amazing from our balcony. Our room was very well presented with plenty of space and good facilities. We loved our stay in Ischia at the residence and would definitely return when next visiting the island. That said, the real highlight for us was meeting Francesco and Guiseppe, who manage the apartments. They are lovely guys, nice to chat to and very helpful with anything relating to the apartment, getting around Ischia or visiting Naples, etc. They also communicated well with us prior to our holiday to make sure everything was organised and ready for our arrival. Thank you both for a great stay!

Posidonia Residence was for us the best choice of accommodation on the island of Ischia. We had an apartment on the 2nd floor with a wonderful view of the city, Naples, the island of Procidia. An absolutely fantastic sunrise seen from the balcony. Francesco and Giuseppe are absolutely wonderful hosts, responsive to any request, with directions related to tourist attractions and places to eat. Large, spacious, clean apartment with all the amenities related to the Kitchen. A spacious bathroom with everything you need. So a 10+ grade for stat in Ischia! A place and people that we warmly recommend! Everything was very good, although it's a slope to the property Francesco or Giuseppe offered to come and take the luggage. But precisely because it is higher, the apartment had a spectacular view of the sea! There is a supermarket in the area with everything you need, it is interesting that you can pay and then you can say that you are staying at Posidonua Residence and the shopping is brought to your room.

This property is an honest 10/10! Straight from arrival, the staff was beautiful and kind to us. The room is very clean, had a beautiful view and all facilities you need on holiday. The location is amazing, a 3 minute walk and you are at Ischia port. Great cafes, restaurants and shops close by. The buses are also great to get around Ischia and see the entire island. Really couldn’t thank the staff more, we loved our stay and can’t wait to go back.

The location is very central, close to restaurants, shopping and supermarket. The are two lovely balconies in the apartment. The hosts are really attentive, nice and made us very welcomed. We had a slight problem with A/C and they fixed it immediately. Bed was very comfy for our taste. It might be good to know that there is a really steep hill to the Residence.

Giuseppe in the reception was great 10+++. Always glad and he gave to us very good tips what to do and how to travel to different places. Every morning we had a nice chat with him. We had a nice quite big apartment with a large balcony. The view was amazing. If we come back we would like to stay in this apartment

Apartment size is grate, separate living room with the kitchen corner is grate if one of you is an early riser. Bathroom is so big you can dance in it. We definitely felt like at home. Oh yeah, location is very good also, just 10-15 min walk from the port, 5-10 min walk to main restaurant and shop street, 10-15 min walk to the supermarket. Yes it is a steep walk but it is grate for your buttocks ;)

perfect location for port, bus station and a reasonably big supermarket. Room was clean and well equipped. We managed to cook a couple of dinners too. Francesco was really helpful, bordering on a concierge. We had a great time there.

I'd say apartment would use some renovations, but this does not really bother us.

Super friendly and helpful owners! Apartment has great view over Ischia town, including magnificent view of the castle. Apartment was large with fantastic balcony, which we used late in the night to sit and sip some wine. Location wise it is very handy. To get on foot from port it is only few minutes, to get to bus station, few minutes as well. Beach - few minutes on foot. Really recommended.

We had a bit of difficulty as the water heater turned off which Giuseppe said was because the water pressure to the island fell. But he quickly resolved the problem. There is a bit of a steep hill to climb in order to get to the units, but that is why there is such a spectacular view from the room. We stayed on the 2nd floor in a view room with more than ample space to sit in the living area, but quite frankly the terrace is where we ate mostly.

The selling point for us was the balcony and the view. Since we were there 4 days we also wanted a fridge and a sitting room other than the bedroom and this fir the bill. Giuseppe was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful and offered help at all hours.

The shower space could be more spacious. Even for me, a small person, I felt a bit crammed in. Another thing bothered me a bit was the water sound made by the air conditioner. Sometimes we needed to turn it off during night.

The location is so close to the port and everything around it. It was easy to get access to buses and the ferry as well. Francesco and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Moreover, we were offered a free upgrade to an apartment with sea view when we arrived. And we were so amazed by the view from our balcony. The apartment was clean and tidy with every necessity. For two travellers, it is a very nice choice.
