An extraordinary place, surrounded by an extraordinary landscape.

We are very fortunate to have found this spot. What a wonderful and luxurious place. A real jewel and exceptional. Whether we went inland or to the coast, everything is easily accessible. But Quattroperle is also an ideal starting point for all the beauties that Puglia has to offer in this particular region, not to mention being able to stay and sleep in a real Trullo. The pool is top-class and invites you to take a morning or evening dip at the appropriate time of the year. Antonella e Angelo were amazingly kind and welcomed us very nicely, and we immediately received our first tips. There are so many beautiful spots to conquer in close proximity. All our vacation needs have been met, and we had a wonderful and inspiring time in the magnificent Quattroperle, surrounded by olive and almond trees. We will definitely remember this place for further future stays. A unique recommendation for those who are looking for something extraordinary.

Beautifully renovated accommodation in a quiet location on the outskirts of the city, a wonderful pool in a nice garden. Everything in the vicinity is easily accessible by car. Antonella was absolutely brilliant.

Blissful Stay in a Beautiful Home
    • Business trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Three-Bedroom House
    • Stayed 14 nights

We loved everything about our stay, but as a word of advice to fellow travellers you probably need a hire car if you are staying here - it's a little too far from the centre of Castellana Grotte to comfortably (or safely - there is no footpath or lights on the road outside) walk at night if you want to go for dinner. Public transport seems a little varied too so to explore all the beautiful places in the area you need your own transport really. Don't let this put you off however, it's really worth it!

Quattroperle is an absolute haven - the pool is beautiful, the bedrooms and bathrooms are fabulous, the air con units very welcome in the midday heat of August (Although the trulli didn't really get that hot even on the hottest days) and Antonella and Angelo were the absolute best hosts. We were welcomed warmly (even though our flight was delayed and we were later than planned), with a bottle of wine, coffee & tea for the morning and some little snacks which we were very grateful for - and the warm welcome didn't stop after we arrived. Not only is the trulli a beautiful place to stay with comfortable beds and a lovely shower, but our hosts were super helpful, helping us with a dinner reservation and any other queries we had, as well as suggesting places to go and the occasional pastry! We had an absolutely blissful stay alternating chilling by the pool and seeing the local area, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. PS: As someone with a mobility issue (wobbly with stick!), I would also recommend this place - there are a couple of wide, shallow steps to the second bedroom which you don't need to use, but other than that everything is flat and even, and the main bathroom is essentially a (very fancy and lovely) wet room with no step into the shower and somewhere to hold on if you need. The pool area is up about four steps but there is a wall to steady yourself on, and I found them fairly straightforward to navigate. The pool itself has steps down into the water rather than a ladder, and again, this was fairly easy to manage. I found it a very easy to settle into building!

Beautiful original Trulli to enjoy the great southern Italy life!

If you prefer your holiday home to be in the country site you might want to consider to go somewhere else. The Trulli is situated close to a road, with some noise from the traffic.

The Trulli is a beautiful and clean place with a great pool, it's a nice space with room for our kids to play. The area is authentic Italian and there a really nice places to go and see, also with kids. Antonella (the host) and her husband are incredibly nice, the helped us in the area and brought is all kind of local specialties.
