Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Fantastic location about twenty metres from Quattro Canti (Piazza Vigliena) and a few minutes from the Cathedral and Chiesa di Santa Caterina. Very nice and stylish rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

United StatesThe lifts(elevators) were a bit small and a bit slow. Two gentlemen that worked there could have been a bit more helpful.
The location was excellent. It was a short walk to many of the best museums and attractions. The dining room was lovely. The food was very good. Our room was spacious and had a balcony. The young woman who worked the front desk was very helpful. There was a beautiful old tree growing in the central courtyard where the restaurant was.

SwitzerlandWe found it over priced, for what you get in return. The staff are friendly, however very little personal contact to the guests. No Info given up front, you have to ask for it. The breakfast is mediocre, doesn’t match what you pay for this, supposed to be, a 4 Star Hotel. Overall a very anonymous, impersonal experience.
It was nice to be out amongst it all, restaurants, street performers, main sites, but then to be able to retreat back to our quiet little oasis. The hotel is nicely designed and very stylish. It has a couple nice spots within the hotel to relax and take a break from all the hustle and bustle out on the streets.

United KingdomThis didn't affect our holiday but it's worth noting that you have to book to use the spa facilities and they cost extra (even just to use the steam room/sauna and plunge pool).
Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the centre of historic Palermo - literally a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars. Good continental breakfast selection. Our bedroom was comfortable and modern, and very clean. Highly recommend if you want to be at the heart of everything.
