Luca was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the breakfast it was amazing and the cappucinos. Luca went out of his way to chat with us each morning and check in to see what we were up to for the day and how he could help out. The room was huge, the garden beautiful and really just a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful location. Stunning views. Amazing garden and pool area. The most fabulous breakfast 😊 On our touring trip we stayed in 6 different hotels, the breakfast and ambiance of this hotel was by far the best.. I would highly recommend you book a stay with Luca .. The owner (Luca) drove us up to the town, making two trips (as 7 in our group) and came back after dinner for us.. He refused payment..amazing service 😀

Nothing it was excellent

The accommodation was excellent, but most importantly we felt the staff team and Luca in particular were very helpful. Luca drove us into town and took us to meet our bus at the end of out stay.

Recommend the A rooms if you can get it, we booked too late. Our room was nice and bathroom was brand new but we would have liked a larger space (we had Room 7)

Luca, and his hard working staff was amazing! Always there to take care of guests needs. Breakfast was great, best we’ve had in Tuscany. Excellent location, outside Volterra walls and easy parking. Fun mix of guests who talk to each other while enjoying the great patio. Awesome old house, loving maintained, recommend!

Nice hotel with a lots of charm and over looking the mountains. Family runs business they love what they do. friendly staff . Luc was very helpful with every things. Great breakfast home made. Great value.definitely will stay again.

Everything! The location is great and convenient. The property is lovely and well maintained. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The daily breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding and delicious! Lucca was very helpful with information, maps, and recommendations! We highly recommend Villa Rioddi !

Very clean apartment with big spaces and nice beds! The host was very helpful and willing to give us information about Voltera such as what to see and where to eat! He also recommended routes to follow with our motorcycles! Furthermore it must be noted that the breakfast was perfect and many things were handmade by the hosts wife! Thank you for everything! It also has free parking spaces(we had 5 motorcycles)

Nothing in particular, just an abrupt staircase, but this is something that cannot be changed. After all, this building used to be an old two-story 15th-century inn.

Amazing location (old XV century building) with a breathtaking view on scenery over Tuscany hills. Conveniently situated just over 1km (3 min drive) outside Volterra village center. Our hosts were very helpful and efficient. Provided a lot of insights about tourist attractions in the area, even a "custom made" map with a few suggestions about day trips with very useful QR codes for an easy orientation on Googler Maps. Enjoyed a lot the breakfast with many local / homemade products.

Would have been great to be able to walk into Volterra, but too far and uphill.

Very welcoming and informative host, who truly cared. Breakfast was exceptional, easily the best on our tour of Tuscany. The hotel is very well located to explore much of Tuscany. Room very comfortable with incredible attention to detail. Also very quiet which we appreciated. Highly recommended.

It was great, also owner of residence, delicious breakfest with homemade cakes, nice views, big garden with swimming pool, big terrace and close to Volterra city. It is lovely place on the Earth, I'd like to come back again. I recommmend it to all visitors.

Sorry, everything was great!

This was a great find, better than we could have hoped for! The breakfast buffet was exceptional, great variety, fresh, and plenty full! The host could not do enough for you, even served the cappuccino, with a smile!! The host, Luca, even prepared maps with highlights to see! We enjoyed the stay we added a few extra days.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly owner. The location is ideal to explore Tuscany. The owner is very helpful with tips and excursions. He even has created recommended tours with an own brochure and custom trips in google maps. +++++

We like everything about the hotel. The facilities are great, but what makes it special is the owner - Luca family. We arrived late, but Luca switched on the light of swimming pool for us, and let us use the plate for dinner. The breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. Luca and his wife cook everyday to ensure guests can enjoy the fresh and amazing Italian food. In addition, This is a family run hotel. You can feel the whole family tried to make you feel at home .
