Beautiful remodeled old building, fully functional, close to Mantova historical center. It was like being lodged in an ancient location, but with all commodities of the present, we really enjoyed it. Chiara gave us all the hints of the place , including parking in the streets around the B&B. We had no difficulties to find a spot.

There is no private parking and it depends on availability of the road side parking lots to have a good position.

A spacious and private ambient where the cleanliness exceed expectations. There are clear guidelines on house rules and amenities which are helpful. We liked the stay overall.

The bed was hard

Couldn't find anything negative about this place.

We stayed in the apartment and we found it to be excellent value for the money. The place was spotless, quiet, and tastefully decorated. Chiara was a great host and wonderful help in so many ways. I won't go on and on about how wonderful this place was, suffice say that jokingly I told my wife that I was looking for something even slightly negative to write in the review but I couldn't find any. I would give it 11 out of 10 if possible at all. The location is also perfect, away from the tourist crowds, and yet so close to all the important areas of the city, including Palazzo Te with its new park.

First of all, the host had no control over this. But both nights (worse on Saturday night), people returned to their rooms late after a big night out. Their voices were quite loud (not fun for someone trying to sleep at 0230). Perhaps some reminder in the welcome booklet that the shared spaces (like the little lobby on the upstairs floor, in which 4 rooms face) should be respected- especially after midnight.

The facility was very clean, with a wonderful bathroom and comfortable bed. There was an electric kettle in the room, with tea bags/sugar; there was an expresso machine in the check-in area. Never met the host- check-in was competed remotely. But the host made some initial dining suggestions. It was not a bad walk, but know that it takes about 12-15 minutes to walk to the true center of town (shops, restaurants, bars, churches, etc.).

Very good contact with the hosts who were extremely friendly and helpful once we were there. Apartment was very clean and well set out. Great air-conditioning, good shower, kitchen had everything. Comfortable bed, good WiFi. We relaxed as soon as we entered. Good location with everything within easy walking distance. Parking was available outside or in next street.

That we only stayed one night! But we'll be back.

The room was incredibly beautiful--restored 16th century touches in a thoroughly modern suite. Communication with the B&B was great and Chiara was available to answer a couple of questions we had about the city--we could message her via WhatsApp. We also got a brief tour of the building itself by the person in charge the morning we left.

Do wish there were an elevator or someone to help with bags outside of the short availability hours (very American request, I know but my parents are over packers so I end up carrying everything for them). In the end, not a huge problem and wouldn’t prevent me from staying again, but just be aware if you’ve got heavy luggage. Of stay on ground floor. Also wish there were fridges in room and breakfast on site, but again not a dealbreaker. Overall loved it and will be back!

Such a beautifully renovated old palazzo with totally fresh interiors and modern bathrooms. Absolutely loved our stay. Wish we could stay longer! mantica is wonderful and this is perfectly located in between Centro and Palazzo Te. The rooms on the first floor are absolutely stunning. Oh and the water pressure is heavenly! Fast internet. just a dream! We loved staying here and will be back!

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I was only there for one day and had many sites to see. She helped me book a taxi for an early departure the next morning for the train station. Because I needed to leave before breakfast service, she secured a coffee token so that I could enjoy an afternoon treat/pick me up as compensation for the lost breakfast. This 16th century house/villa turned guesthouse also provided a google map with suggested restaurants. The location was easy walking distance between Palazzo Te and the old town.

Parking in the nearby street was easy and Chiara gave us a voucher for this. A walk of less than a km to the fabulous Palazzo Ducale.

the bar for breakfast was quite packed and quite warm. It wasnt far away.

Room size very good. warm welcome with good introduction. the beds were comfortable and the aircon worked well.
