I wish we had seen Venice back in its day before tourism changed it. As far as the accommodations go , my only complaint would be the strong “perfume”’smell in the room. It made it hard to sleep even though the beds were so comfortable. We slept with the heat cranked and the windows open to dilute the aroma.

The location was great . The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. The breakfast was over the top. We ask for less food the second morning as it was way too much for the 2 of us. The host was very helpful and gave us great advice on places to eat as well as great suggestions on visiting the Islands Murano and Burano , it was a highlight of our time in Venice.

Everything starting from the style and design of the property up to the service exceeded our expectation. On our arrival to the airport, we received a message from the host with the directions to the property. It was an easy commute from the airport. We arrived at around 1 o’clock and the room was already prepared for us so we started our Venice experience straight away. The room was clean with all the necessary facilities.

Residenza La Loggia was a fantastic place to stay while in Venice! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the opulent decor felt very appropriate for an 1,100 year old building. A fabulous breakfast with cappuccino was delivered to our room each morning. The hotel is in an excellent location for walking to restaurants, shops, theaters, museums, etc. Matteo was wonderfully welcoming, friendly, and helpful and a great conversationalist with abundant knowledge about Venice's history and culture. We will highly recommend Resident La Loggia to friends and would definitely stay here again.
